Hi everyone
It snowed again yesterday, I know this is not a popular thing, but I like the snow.
Yeah, its so not as in cold but as in wow.
I love to push my head deep into it when its fresh, (not so much fun when its hard) and snuffle around to see if there are any treasures left in there. I also love to bounce along in it, this is even more fun when I am heading toward a steep slope in the garden as when I get to the top I roll on my side and skid down the slope on my back waving my legs about with the excitement. Oh really all you need to try it, best make sure there is nothing you will hit on the way down though, that takes so much of the fun out of it.
The other thing I love about the snow is watching Murph and Ash dance, they take a step and shake a leg, then another and shake that leg, sometimes they stand on 3 legs and at times even on two. I have been trying to make up a song to go with the dance they do, but its not going to well. Between us I am not sure but I think they are making it up as they go along. Every time I think I have the tune it seems to change. I do love them though. Do all cats that go outside dance?
When I come in I am supposed to clear my feet etc of all the snow, Mum gets the towel and wipes my feet to make sure I don't get snow stuck and hurt my feet. I am supposed to be pulling the snow out of the toe areas, however it is so much more fun to be licking Mum all over, as she can not get out the way when she is on the floor...........YEESSS I love the snow! There must be other out there who like snow, isn't there?

I love the snow, but the momma does not. Today we have another winter storm warning in effect. Lots of snow and blowing snow, it just isn't nice here.

Hi Buddy
Just stay safe and warm all of you. We can get out and play when the weather is up to it.
Where are you?
Your pose and mine seems very similar maybe we will see each other under the snow one day. It great under there isn't it?
When I come up I feel like Julie Andrews in the sound of music when she sings "snow flakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes"
Mum says I am a diva!

Yes, Penny, my momma bought me some Mushers Secret and it works wonderful. Daddy even found a recipe online where you can make your own. I will try and look that up for you!

Thank you Flicka, I can relax and let them rub it on my paws and give me a massage, just as it should be, While they are down I will give them a thorough wash..between us I always find bits they missed.

Thank you buddy that would be good, well if it does not come out like the treats that is LOL

Natural Paw Balm
1 part beeswax
1 part olive oil or avocado oil
1 pinch borax
Purchase cosmetic grade beeswax and follow the manufacturer's instructions for melting (this is often sold at craft stores for making homemade lip balm). Once the wax is melted, slowly add the olive oil or other edible oil, mix this until it is of a whipped consistency and add the pinch of borax. Remember that the dog will lick its feet after the balm is applied, so all of the ingredients must be edible and of current non-spoilage date. Store the balm in an airtight container to avoid spoilage or discoloration. Just a few smudges of this on each pad will go a long way. Rub it is well, and be sure not to make a mess of the hair around the pads.

Here is the recipe, Penny. Be careful with licking the Mushers Secret off your paws. The oil in it has a slight laxative effect if you lick too much off. Trust me on this one!

Thank you Buddy
I will pass the list on to the Peeps, when they get off the mountain, they can pick the items up.
I will be careful on the Licking, but after eating Mums treats, my tum can probably manage dynamite LOL
