My TERROR-ific Week

My "Grandmeme and Grandpopo" came in last week to help celebrate "Mommie's" birthday, I was so excited because it's been almost 2 months since I've seen them! I helped "Mommie" get the house all ready for their arrival and then I went with "Mommie and Daddie" to pick them up @ the airport! I got so super excited when I saw them that I thought my tail might wag off! I spent the week eating out at all our favorite pet friendly places and I took walks and naps with "Grandpopo". At the end of the week "Mommie, Daddie, Grandpopo, and Grandmeme" took me to a Halloween costume party and we had a BARK-tacular time! I had the best visit with my "grandparents" and yesterday was Halloween and they had to leave, but they will be back very soon and I cannot wait! WOOF!

This week has been hectic and fun all at the same time! My "Mommie" and I have been decorating for Thanksgiving and taking down all the Halloween decorations! I have been very helpful except for only a couple of times when I got restless and wanted to play with my toys! "Mommie" and I went shopping this week too in order to get some new Thanksgiving day stuff! We went to Hobby Lobby and bought a bunch of stuff! Everyone in the store couldn't believe how good and quiet I was being, and when I got home "Mommie" gave me a Greenie for being a very helpful girl!

A 'Magical' Weekend

This weekend "Mommie" and "Daddie" took me to Disney World! They wanted to catch the end of the Food and Wine Festival and do a little Christmas shopping (though "Mommie" keeps saying the only shopping that got done was for me!) I went to Best Friends Pet Care, AKA 'Pluto's Playground' as "Mommie" and "Daddie" like to call it, and I saw all my 'friends' that work there! Everyone was as happy to see me as I was them and I had a really great time while I was there! When we got home "Mommie" was putting my paperwork that I got from 'Pluto's' away and she noticed that I have been there 26 times in the past year so I guess that all I can say is that this weekend was just another day in the life of a 'Disney Dog'! WOOF

This week there is not much to tell...'Mommie' had a long week at work so we have mostly been being lazy when we are at home! I have been helping clean the house though for Thanksgiving and I am very excited that it is nearly here! 'Mommie' and 'Daddie' went to get groceries for our Turkey Day dinner the other day and they came home with ALOT of stuff! I did see a Hickory Smoked Turkey somewhere in there and I am gonna try to steal a piece or two! 'Mommie' 'Daddie' and I are gonna start decorating for Christmas on Thanksgiving, I can't wait to get the tree up! I hope everyone has a very Happy Thanksgiving and that they have many things to be thankful for like me!

We wrapped up Thanksgiving and I sure had a lot to be thankful for! My 'grandmeme' and 'grandpopo' and 'great grandma' came in on a surprise visit to spend the HOWLiday with us! 'Mommie', 'daddie', and I were so excited it was very nice to have them here! We ate a TON of turkey and pie and then on the 25th we all went to a Christmas block PAWty downtown to watch them light the Christmas tree and have cocoa and cider! On the 26th 'meme' and 'popo' and 'great g-ma' had to go back home and 'mommie', 'daddie' and I went to the town of Celebration in Orlando to kick off the Christmas HOWLidays! We had dinner at a local resturant and listened to carollers, we went to the snowfall that they had on their main street and rode on a buggy pulled by horses, we also shopped in the doggie store where 'mommie' and 'daddie' bought me a beautiful candy cane dress! We had the best time, it was a wonderful way to bring in the season! Now we are working on getting the Christmas decorations up and as always Im gonna be very helpful!

This week 'Mommie', 'Daddie', and I went to Disney World again! I went to 'Pluto's Playground' and played with all my friends there! 'Mommie' and 'Daddie' went to the Very Merry Christmas Party and they had alot of fun! One of the days they did pick me up early for an extended walk so we could all go to the town of Celebration and eat together and then they took me to the dog store on the main street and got me a special snowman treat to take back with me to 'Pluto's'! I had such a good time on our mini Howl-iday weekend. Then when we got back I helped "Daddie' put up all the Christmas lights outside and when I say help I mean supervised! We have ALOT of lights up, its very Merry and Bright at our house! he he

This week has been all about CHRISTMAS!!!! We have put up all the Christmas lights and decorations and we have, for the most part, wrapped all the presents which I helped out with ALOT (check out my third pic). 'Mommie' was off for 4 days in a row and so I got to hang out with her and be lazy bones all weekend long! On Sunday I went and got my picture with none other than SANTA PAWS!!!! On Thursday there is a Christmas dog PAWty in our downtown area where I will get my pawprints and pictures made and a bunch of other festive things! I'm pretty excited!

A Very Merry Christmas Indeed!

This past week was Christmas and I could hardly contain myself I was so excited all week! 'Mommie' and 'Daddie' and I worked on last minute details to make sure everything was perfect for when 'Grandmeme' and 'Grandpopo' came in. They arrived on Christmas Eve and I just leapt for them and gave them a ton of kisses when I saw them! That night I put out my milk and cookies (that 'Mommie' and I baked) for Santa and Carrots for the Reindeers and when I woke up they had all been nibbled on! Then I opened present after present after present, 'Mommie' said I was such a good girl this year and thats why I got so many! I got toys and clothes and shoes and more toys and treats and on and on and on! Everyone else got a little something also, they were all really good this year too! Then we ate and ate so many delicious foods and watched Christmas movies all day and night! By the end of the night we were all pooped so went to bed and as I layed there with my 'Mommie' and 'Daddie' I thought about what a lucky girl I am and how much I love my family! "Merry Christmas To All and To All a Good Night!"

Long Time, No Bark...

It's been a long time since I have wrote an entry because 'Mommie', 'Daddie', and I have been super duper busy! My 'Grandpopo' is staying with us for a while and I love having him there because he and I are like two peas in a pod! We go walking everyday and he ALWAYS feeds me part of his breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My family and I had a very happy New Year and we all made resloutions: mine is to go for a walk everyday so I can get some fresh air and meet new people, and to give more kisses (that one shouldn't be too hard because I already give out a ton!) I think I am really gonna like 2012 and I can't wait for all the adventures to come!

Wow what a week! We went back home to New Orleans to visit for 8 days and to be a member of the Mystic Krewe of Barkus for the 3rd year in a row! We had such a wonderful time and did soooooo many things! 'Mommie' and 'Daddie' took me in the French Quarter and to the Frnch Market and we ate at so many little cafes and went shopping at the boutiques in the Quarter, but nothing beat when we marched in the parade! The theme of the parade was Mission Impossible and everyone dressed in disguise. My disguise was a milkshake and 'Mommie', 'Daddie', 'Grandmeme', 'Grandpopo', and 'Auntie' Amanda dressed like waiters and waitresses form the 50's! It was awesome we looked great! We were all very sad to have to leave esp. 'Mommie' but we will be back soon!
Don't forget Mardi Gras is on the 21st also so have a Happy Fat Tuesday and as my title says 'Let the Good Times Roll'
