Tattoos

Yesterday was a rainy, gloomy day here in Va. We sat around most of the day looking on the internet. Mom was playing games why we lounged around on her lap. After mom had finished using her lives in the stupid Facebook games she decided to checkout the news feed. Mom saw that a friend of hers on one of her Dachshund pages had gotten a simple tattoo of a Dachshund. They call it a Picasso Dachshund just lines mostly. That seem to put an idea in my moms mind. She has other tattoos and said that she didn't want any more ink. Whatever that means. Anyway, the next thing you know she is searching the web for pictures of Dachshund tattoos. Mom found her simple one plus another of a heart and a paw print. Later on dad ask mom what she wanted to do later in the evening. Mom responded go get some tattoos. Dad said really. Mom said yes.

I wish that I could have went so they could see why she was getting a Dachshund tattoo to start with BOL. Mom tells me all the time she thinks I'm beautiful so I really think I am. She has me convinced. Later yesterday evening mom came home with the tattoo of a Dachshund and the other one with the heart one on each foot. They really don't look like me but they are really cute. Mom said the guy that did her tattoo couldn't believe she wanted something that simple. He said most people these days want to go all out or use a lot of color and detail. Mom said well "whatever" to herself. She said to herself I'm not everybody else. My mom is so straight up. Sometimes we can't believe what comes out of her mouth. I really wish we could post pictures on here again so I could show you how cute they are.

Today is gonna be another gloomy day looks like. I hate going outside when it's rainy and wet. My whole underside gets wet and mom want let me get in her lap until we I am dry. I thought I heard the pawrents say something about going to see Charles Billingsley in concert at church tonight. Mom loves to hear that man sing. I guess us furbabies will have some quiet time with out the humans tonight.

Little Sisters

I was awoken this morning by a loud stern voice. It took me a few minutes to get my bearings. I thought at first I was dreaming. Then I hear a few bad words followed by peed in the bed. I said to myself "Uh Oh" The only thing that saved me from not getting frantic is that I knew it wasn't me. We all knew who did it. My little fursister Lilli.

Mom had to be the one who got up to clean up the bed sheets and blankets. She is still not to happy. She has had 2 cups of coffee and still not smiling. She had almost forgotten about us Doxies taking a little bit longer than some dogs to catch on to being potty trained. Lilli must have peed in the house a dozen times this week. Mom bought pee pads and placed them around the house. Lilli was doing really well with the pads until she discovered that she could tear them up. If Lilli doesn't tear them up then our feline friend Serenity will scratch them up in a ball. I think Serenity tries to get us furbabies in trouble so she can keep the heat off of herself. Mom said she might have to get Lilli some of the little female britches to wear to help with the housebreaking. She said it took me quite a while to catch on when I was little. I didn't like wearing the britches at all. They didn't stay on well. I didn't like the color either BOL!

Not sure what today is going to bring. It looks like rain again here. It has been raining a lot here this week. I think I need a raincoat. Us furbabies hate the rain. We just stand in the yard looking at mom and whining pitifully. Sometimes the sadness works other times not. Mom has took us out and tried to hold an umbrella over us but I think my dad threw the large one away. I don't know what he was thinking. Well I am going back to bed for a while.

Crazy weekend

Saturday started off really busy. Mom had a Scentsy party Saturday evening. Everyone in the house was busy cleaning except us furbabies. Mom said we were in the way for the most part BOL.

Around 3 the guest arrived and us furbabies were all of a sudden locked in the bedroom. We did everything we could to get mom and dads attention so we could get out. Lilli found some papers under moms dresser to get into and tear up. I myself just whined. Mom did feel bad half way through and let us out of the room. We didn't get to stay out long because I started barking then Lilli started barking. Mom said she was so embarrassed. She reminded me that I didn't used to do that sort of thing when people visited. I didn't tell mom but I was so glad when her party was over so I could get back in her lap.

Today is the first day of school for our human sisters. Mom started feeling sick Sunday evening and didn't feel well all night. She called into her job and decided to stay home with us. She missed getting the girls off to school. She left the job all up to dad. I think it all worked out well. Us furbabies really miss thoughs two girls today. Tomorrow if mom is able to go back to work we will be home all alone. It is gonna be really quiet here. I hope mom starts feeling better soon. She says she has lots to do this week.
