Trixie, my grandfather's dog, was put to sleep today. I ask anyone who reads this to pray for Trixie & my Papa. He loved her and had to make the decision.

So I had my first raw meal today! I had a chicken back! When they brought it out I picked it up & carried it out and started trying to get a grip of it. At first I didn't like how it felt and kept wiping my face but after awhile I LOVED it! Ate the whole thing.

What color is your collar?
Red nylon, varying bandannas

What are your favorite treats?
Frozen yogurt & peanut butter ice cubes.

Do you get table scraps?
Yeah. I also get unguarded treats on the table... as long as I can jump up on the table.

What is your favorite toy?
My rope chew. It dangles infront of me, daring me to take it... so I don't just take it, I ATTACK it.

When is your birthday?
November 21st

How many times a day do you eat?
Twice. Though I make up for that by stealing.

Do you have a favorite color?
Green. It's the same color as my rope.

Do you hope all your Pup Pals put this on their diary?
Yup.

I'm never going there again.

So I had just gone out to do my... buisness and thought it was going to be a typical day of sleeping and sun bathing when my girl, her sister, and mother got me on the leash and took me for a car ride. At first I thought we were going to the vet or Arfin' Annie's Kennal but this ride took longer. When we got there it was a long trail along a road but it was HOT. So, my pawrents got my water from a fountain but I could reach it and it operated with a button. After that we went on a long walk . It went on and on. My girl wet me occasionaly and gave me water in a bowl she brought.

I was walking so slow and I was too tired. My pawrents seemed to sense this and took turns carrying me back to the car. But I was too heavy for them so they carried me until it seem I could walk a little. Then they set me down and my girl and Mom ran to the car and drove to pick us up. I was panting real hard by now so my girl got me cold water and turned the air in the car cool. Appearantley, I wasn't cooling down so I got delicious vanilla ice cream.

We got back home and I was breathing almost normally so I peed and went to take a nap. ( Actually, I', still sleeping during the time my girl has writen this. ;) ) They said I was gonna be okay so I just relaxed. They also said that they were never taking me there again!

With love and air conditioning, Kc.

July the Fourth

Wow I had a great time yesterday! In the morning I was hanging out with my girl while my girl's mother put my dog house together. Then people started to arrive so I had to go on the leash. I hated that so I howled until they let me out. By that time all my people were eating but I stuck by my girl and her Grandpa because they drop their food more than anyone else. Unfortunatley I had to be tied up because some men came on Tuesday and played with our screen and closed up my dog door. Then my girl's mom put me on the first step on the pool because she wanted to see how I'd react. I jumped out first chance I got & ran for the door, thinking my door was still there & everyone started yelling and ruhing to the door. I got ready to jump and then they opened it so I just jumped into open ground. Later on our neighbor & her granddaughter came over and the miniature poured water on her and got yelled at even though she was wearing water clothes too. By that time it was about to rain so we all went inside & ate again but the miniature dropped 3/4 of a hot dog for me and Papa was eating sausage so I got some of that, too. The miniature was eating spaghetti with her hands so I stuck by her. Then they all left and I listed to the fireworks as I fell asleep.

With love, Kc.

New Walk Path!

Oh, yay! Today my pawrent and her rent took me on a walk. What am I excited about, you ask? Why that they took me out of the neighborhood and to The Path That Smells Of Other Dogs! I named it myself, what do you think? It was further than what I was used to and I was going slow and draagging my nails but near the end I got a burst of energy when I saw not 3, not 4, not 5, but SIX! Six other dogs. They were all barking at me so I showed them who was better and started a Beagle Song. That shut them up. I'm exhausted but thrilled all the same.

With love, Kc.

Lizards

You know how Kc ate a turtle a few weeks ago? Yeah? Well now she ate a lizard. We were having a pool party last weekend for father's Day and I dove to the bottom of the pool and what do I see but a lizard, inches from my face. I kick back to the top and make my cousin go get it. 5 minutes later Kc returns from her horly grass-rolling break and spots it. She comes picks it up and I see how large it was. 4 inches at least. She goes out and has another 5 minute rolling session. She then procedes to eat it. After she smelled so bad I gave her a bath on the spot. She seems to have acquired a taste of repitiles.

I meant to post this before but I just haven't gotton to it. One month ago I climbed in my Mom's car to go home from school like I do every school day. She handed me the phone and I talked to my Grandmother who started talking nonsense about Kc and a turtle.I gave the phone back to my mom and asked her what about a turtle. She said that my sister, who had got home two hours earlier, was about to mow the front lawn when she saw Kc chewing on a bone and thought "But we dont give her bones...?" She walked to the fence and saw Kc gnawing on a half eaten turtle. She ran to the backyard and attempted to get her to drop it using the pool screen seeing as this wouldn't work She ran in the house and got some bread. She threw it but not far enough and soon came back for the turtle. Panicked, my sister tried to cover the turtle but Kc ripped right through it. She threw another piece of bread and threw it farther and flung the turtle over the fence. Kc was ine but GROSS!

Thank you ♥Dayzee♥!

God's Plan
===========

Some things are beyond planning.
And life doesn't always turn out as planned.
You don't plan for a broken heart.
You don't plan for a failed business venture.
You don't plan for an adulterous husband
or a wife who wants you out of her life.
You don't plan for an autistic child.
You don't plan for spinsterhood.
You don't plan for a lump in your breast.

You plan to be young forever.
You plan to climb the corporate ladder.
You plan to be rich and powerful.
You plan to be acclaimed and successful.
You plan to conquer the universe.
You plan to fall in love - and be loved forever.

You don't plan to be sad.
You don't plan to be hurt.
You don't plan to be broke.
You don't plan to be betrayed.
You don't plan to be alone in this world.
You plan to be happy. You don't plan to be shattered.
Sometimes if you work hard enough, you can get what you want.

But MOST times, what you want and what you get
are two different things.

We, mortals, plan. But so does God in the heavens.
Sometimes, it is difficult to understand God's plans especially
when His plans are not in consonance with ours.

Often, when God sends us crisis, we turn to Him in anger.
True, we cannot choose the cross that God wishes us to carry,
but we can carry that cross with courage knowing that God will
never abandon us nor send something we cannot cope with.

Sometimes, God breaks our spirit to save our soul.
Sometimes, He breaks our heart to make us whole.
Sometimes, God allows pain so we can be stronger.
Sometimes, God sends us failure so we can be humble.
Sometimes, God allows illness so we can take better care of
ourselves. Sometimes, God takes everything away from us
so we can learn the value of everything He gave us.

Make plans, but understand that we live by God's grace.

THIS WILL GIVE YOU CHILLS:

AFTER A FEW OF THE USUAL SUNDAY EVENING HYMNS,THE CHURCH'S PASTOR SLOWLY STOOD UP, WALKED OVER TO THE PULPIT AND,BEFORE HE GAVE HIS SERMON FOR THE EVENING, HE BRIEFLY INTRODUCED A GUEST MINISTER WHO WAS IN THE SERVICE THAT EVENING.

IN THE INTRODUCTION, THE PASTOR TOLD THE CONGREGATION THAT THE GUEST MINISTER WAS ONE OF HIS DEAREST CHILDHOOD FRIENDS AND
THAT HE WANTED HIM TO HAVE A FEW MOMENTS TO GREET THE CHURCH AND SHARE WHATEVER HE FELT WOULD BE APPROPRIATE FOR THE SERVICE ..
WITH THAT, AN ELDERLY MAN STEPPED UP TO THE PULPIT AND BEGAN TO SPEAK.

'A FATHER, HIS SON, AND A FRIEND OF HIS SON WERE
SAILING OFF THE PACIFIC COAST ' HE BEGAN.
'WHEN A FAST APPROACHING

STORM BLOCKED ANY ATTEMPT TO GET BACK TO THE SHORE....

THE WAVES WERE SO HIGH, THAT EVEN THOUGH THE FATHER WAS AN EXPERIENCED SAILOR, HE COULD NOT KEEP THE BOAT UPRIGHT AND THE THREE WERE SWEPT INTO THE OCEAN AS THE BOAT CAPSIZED.'

THE OLD MAN HESITATED FOR A MOMENT,MAKING EYE CONTACT WITH TWO TEENAGERS WHO WERE,FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE THE SERVICE BEGAN, LOOKING SOMEWHAT INTERESTED IN HIS STORY.

THE AGED MINISTER CONTINUED WITH HIS STORY, 'GRABBING A RESCUE LINE, THE FATHER HAD TO MAKE THE MOST EXCRUCIATING DECISION OF HIS LIFE: TO WHICH BOY WOULD HE THROW THE OTHER END OF THE LIFE LINE.
HE ONLY HAD SECONDS TO MAKE THE DECISION.
THE FATHER KNEW THAT HIS SON WAS A CHRISTIAN AND HE ,
ALSO, KNEW THAT HIS SON'S FRIEND WAS NOT.
THE AGONY OF HIS DECISION COULD NOT BE MATCHED BY THE TORRENT OF WAVES.

AS THE FATHER YELLED OUT, 'I LOVE YOU, SON!'
HE THREW OUT THE LIFE LINE TO HIS SON'S FRIEND.
BY THE TIME THE FATHER HAD PULLED THE FRIEND BACK TO THE CAPSIZED BOAT, HIS SON HAD DISAPPEARED BENEATH THE RAGING SWELLS INTO THE BLACK OF NIGHT.

HIS BODY WAS NEVER RECOVERED.

BY THIS TIME, THE TWO TEENAGERS WERE SITTING UP
STRAIGHT IN THE PEW, ANXIOUSLY WAITING FOR THE NEXT WORDS TO

COME OUT OF THE OLD MINISTER'S MOUTH.

'THE FATHER,' HE CONTINUED, 'KNEW HIS SON WOULD STEP INTO ETERNITY WITH JESUS AND HE COULD NOT BEAR THE THOUGHT OF HIS SON'S FRIEND STEPPING INTO AN ETERNITY WITHOUT JESUS.. THEREFORE, HE SACRIFICED HIS SON TO SAVE THE SON'S FRIEND.'!

HOW GREAT IS THE LOVE OF GOD THAT HE SHOULD DO THE SAME FOR US..
OUR HEAVENLY FATHER SACRIFICED HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON THAT WE COULD BE SAVED.....
I URGE YOU TO ACCEPT HIS OFFER TO RESCUE YOU AND TAKE A HOLD OF THE LIFE LINE HE IS THROWING OUT TO YOU IN THIS SERVICE.'

WITH THAT, THE OLD MAN TURNED AND SAT BACK DOWN IN HIS CHAIR AS SILENCE FILLED THE ROOM.

THE PASTOR AGAIN WALKED SLOWLY TO THE PULPIT AND DELIVERED A BRIEF SERMON WITH AN INVITATION AT THE END.
HOWEVER, NO ONE RESPONDED TO THE APPEAL.

WITHIN MINUTES AFTER THE SERVICE ENDED, THE TWO TEENAGERS WERE AT THE OLD MAN'S SIDE.

'THAT WAS A NICE STORY,' POLITELY STATED ONE OF THEM, 'BUT I DON'T THINK IT WAS VERY REALISTIC FOR A FATHER TO GIVE UP HIS
ONLY SON'S LIFE IN HOPES THAT THE OTHER BOY WOULD BECOME A CHRISTIAN.'

'WELL, YOU'VE GOT A POINT THERE,' THE OLD MAN REPLIED,
GLANCING DOWN AT HIS WORN BIBLE.
A BIG SMILE BROADENED HIS NARROW FACE..
HE ONCE AGAIN LOOKED UP AT THE BOYS AND SAID, 'IT SURE ISN'T VERY REALISTIC,

IS IT?
BUT, I'M STANDING HERE TODAY TO TELL YOU THAT STORY GIVES ME A GLIMPSE OF WHAT IT MUST HAVE BEEN LIKE FOR GOD TO GIVE UP HIS SON FOR ME.

YOU SEE...

I WAS THAT FATHER AND YOUR PASTOR IS MY SON'S FRIEND.'

Take 60 seconds & give this a shot.

Let's see if Satan can stop this one!

All you do is simply:

1) Say this small prayer for the person who reads this,

Father, God bless the person who reads this in whatever it is

you know he or she may be needing this day!

Amen

2) Then send it on.
Within hours, you will have been prayed for, and you caused

multitudes of people to pray to God for other people.

Then sit back and watch the power of God work in your

life for doing the thing that you know he loves!
