K9 Cancer Walk

Tomorrow the humom and Pepper will be walking in the K9 Cancer Walk in Los Gatos, CA. Yes, the city of cats is hosting a dog walk! BOL!

I left the earth at a decent age of 12. But it is suspected that cancer in concert with old age played a part in what might have been a longer quality life.

I always loved my walks. Think I'll come along. Maybe I'll make my presence known in the rustle of the leaves. Will they know it's me?

I's going with you Jamaica. That evil cancer robbed me of my life too. I's gonna make my presence known too.

Oh, thanks, Rinky and MrJack! I know many Rainbow Bridge pups will be there. We'll be in the rays of the sunshine, the breeze blowing through the trees and in big, puffy white clouds smiling down on every one. Some may not sense us, but many will.

Jamaica, I am sure your humans and Pepper feel your presence in every one of their walks.

Thanks you guys for taking part in such an important event. Cancer shortened my life too and finding a cure is something very near and dear to my Mom's heart (just like me). I was there cheering all the pups and people on. You may not see us but if you look for the signs you will know in your heart it is us. Again thanks from the bottom of our hearts.

Thank you, dear furiends, for your kind comments and support. I know cancer has taken many a life, both canine and human, much too soon. I at least lived a reasonable number of dog years. My neighborhood buddy, Thor, died at age 7.
