Agility

So... I've started agility classes. Last week was my first. Wait wait... let me back up a little and give you some info about me and my life.

HI. I'm Moxie. :) I am a BEAUCERON. Rockin' I know. :) My humans call me "Mox", "Mox-a-roxie", and "Mox-ster". I live with an Australian Shepherd and a Pom-sheltie mix. I came to meet my parents one day when I was 6 weeks old. They drove a long way to come and see me. They actually were not looking for a puppy because the lady who bred me said they only had males left. When they got there, one lady decided she wanted a male instead of me... and so they scooped me up, loved on me, and put down a deposit. I guess they had never had a puppy before. He he. Anyway, in two more weeks the breeder brought me to a show and my humans came and picked me up there. I went home with them and my "real life" began. They are pretty cool people. I love them all very much. I play tug with Dad and fetch with Mom. Mostly, I am "Dad's dog". I mean, I LOVE everyone... but Dad is my main man. He runs with me, plays with me and has started doing agility with me. When I was a smaller pup I started having pains in my hips. I've seen the vet a whole bunch already and am going to see them a bunch more in the not to distant future. Seems I've got hip dysplasia too, like Mihkoa... but not nearly as bad as her. Poor lady. So I am doing beginner agility classes to help strengthen my muscles right now. Mom doesn't think I will be able to do much more than that but we will see what all the tests say. Penn Hip coming up, another OFA. Fun fun fun. Mihkoa and I are headed in together. She tore a muscle and is having tons more pain than me so we will be going "under" for x-rays at the same time. Nice vet people though. :)

So agility! Dad and I started last week. Tonight is my second class. I love it. Treats and love are the best! I have no idea about these back legs though. Seems I am supposed to have control of them as well as my fronts. WHO KNEW?!? I'd love to play more agility someday. We have to wait and see what the test results say though. Bah. I'd like to do more now! I would play every single day if I could. Treats are awesome! Dad is my favorite person, so its just a pawsome deal! Anyway... gotta run. :) WOOF MY FRIENDS!
