My DOTD Celebration Yesterday ... 01/06/13

As most of you know I have several dogster pages, My Angel Lexi page is because I live at the Rainbow Bridge where I always look down upon my family and friends and watch over you. My Lexi page is my page where my Spirit stays alive on dogster/catster so I can still interact with all my friends that mean so much to me. Thank You Momma for making my Spirit Page♥ When I went to the Bridge Momma and I were both afraid I would be forgotten and I think a lot of new Angels feel this too but we realize how silly it is because family and friends that love one another NEVER FORGET each other and yesterday was total proof of it. I was selected for DOTD By HQ (Thank You HQ) and the outpouring of love and friendship I was shown through pmails, Mommas email, gifts on my page, beautiful pictures made for me and Oh My the list is endless. I did my best to get all my thank you's out and please forgive my manners if I forgot anyone as it was never intentional as I love each and everyone of you and do so appreciate your love and generosity you've given me! What A Blessing and Beautiful Gift Love and Frinedship is♥

Remember when you look at the stars and see them twinkle it is really not the stars twinkling at all it is my love and the love of all the beautiful Angels up here at the Bridge reflecting our love off our Wings down to you.

What A Beautiful Surprise To See Myself On The Home Page- Today

Thank You Dogster for giving to me DOTD Honor. Momma's eyes were leaking when she signed on today and saw me looking at her and then she saw all the beautiful gifts from friends and pmails filled with gorgeous pictures and well wishes from so many friends. It is a feeling of not only being loved but mostly of never being forgotten that makes this honor so very special.

My Furiend Guidio

OMD, Most of us know Guidio as the kind fun furiendly Italian Kitty whom speaks so cute but did you know just how important he and his Momma are? He travels to places with her and is an amazing therapy cat..Yeppers that's right! We are sending cards to help bring smiles to the Seniors they share their Fridays with. How kind of them huh? God Bless them for doing that♥ Momma got her cards made and is so furry excited to get them in the mail she can hardly wait for October. Phew it's furry hard to wait when you are so anxious to send something to someone that you know is going to bring a smile to their faces and how blessed they are to get to see them smiles in real life.

My Exceptional Birthday Yesterday!

Yesterday was my Birthday and I was so blessed I really don't know where to start to tell you how Special It Was BUT WILL START BY SAYING:

When I signed onto dogster My Mailbox was full of friends sending Birthday Wishes, Birthday Pictures, Poems, Bones and Songs! The day started out sad for my Momma but soon turned to joy as she walked down memory lane remembering all the love we shared and the memories we made and those memories include each and everyone of you! Butterflies everywhere as everyone remembered how I loved chasing them and someday you will see me once again chasing the thousands and thousand that flutter here at the bridge and you are most welcome to chase them with me♥

Because I wasn't here on Earth Momma went and bought Roscoe and Monnie a Ice Cream Cone Toy and Oh the fun they had. Monnie tossed and squeaked hers but of course Roscoe Boy did that same thing several times and then chewed his up! I laughed as I looked down from heaven because that Beastie Boy sure keeps Momma hopping! BOL!

Beep Beep Beep

I awoke to a very loud Beep Beep Beep and the sound of Zaks feet running fast down the hall and I heard the door slam...I jumped up thinking the house was on fire but smelled no smoke and still being half asleep I realized it was the alarm ion the foaling stall going off. I was so excited as I grabbed a jacket, and saw Zaks hanging by the door and grabbed his as well because the spring mornings are still so cold here in the mountains. I hurried down to the barn threw open the door and stopped! Their was Zak with a huge soft towel wiping down the brand new black foal that Mariah had just delivered. Using his strong hands yet he rubbed so gentle it amazed me and made my heart fill with pride. He turned towards me and gave me that slow smile of his that makes my heart skip a beat and said, He quite a fine foal isn't he? I walked towards him grinning from ear to ear and placed my hand on the new foals fuzzy back, turned and gave Mariah a hug and said, Good Job new Momma as she softly snorted knowing I was right.

I handed Zak his coat and said Congratulations My Love you just received the most beautiful black stallion you had wished so hard for. He pulled me close hugged me and together we stood and watched new Momma and baby nuzzle one another and my heart was skipping beats just watching such a beautiful moment in time. Zak said, they are both doing well my sweet Lexi so let's go back to the house and make some breakfast together and talk about what his new name will be. We held hands as we walked slowly back to our house with our hearts filled with happiness.

Spring Is In The Air At Our Angel Bluff Ranch

It's been a long cold winter here at the ranch however Zak and I have totally been blessed being snowed in and sharing wonderful dinners and talks in front of the fireplace, quiet times in the library and snowmobiling, sledding down the mountain screaming and laughing as we yelled our heads off and tumbled off a few times. We did get out to celebrate the holidays with family and friends, attend several plays, 1 opera and many dances and parties so winter is a fun time for us.

With spring arriving in a few weeks it means lots of hard work arriving with it but we love our ranch so work is just part of the package and we don't mind it at all as the rewards are far greater than the work. There is nothing better than standing on our deck holding hands sipping our coffee and breathing in the fresh crisp mountain air as we gaze over the herd of horses and the beautiful vast landscape that is all ours. The feeders are full of birds that have migrated back, crocus are poking through the snow reaching for the warm sun that shines every morning now and the hills are full of sounds of animals moving about enjoying the new grass sprouting up and drinking from the river that is starting to thaw and we hear them calling for a mate.

We have two foals due anytime now so Zak has the mother/foal stalls all ready with fresh straw bedding, extra grain and vitamins for the Mares and has moved the music player in with soft soothing sounds and warm blankets hanging on the stall doors so they're ready when needed. I am hoping for a black paint mare and he is hoping for another black stallion like Raging Fire but we agree as long as they and Mommas are healthy we will love what they deliver.

I turn around and give him a soft kiss on his cheek and say, Zak My Darling we are so blessed and he sets our coffee mugs on the rail and pulls me close..no words needed as I know he feels the blessing too!
