Mama said I should be very polite and Thank everyone for all the Happy Valentine's Wishes........so I am saying "THANK YOU " to all my pals for thinking of me and I hope you had a great day also ! It's a nice sunny day now, so I am going for a ride in the van with Daddy and Grandpa ..........Bye, bye ! :)

My Birthday........I'm sorry !!!

My Mama has not been online since last week. She was due to have bi-lateral knee surgery on my birthday....can you imagine ? On MY birthday !!! Anyway, Mama's been working up to this for a long time ! So what happens ......she gets sick the day before surgery . She starts with the chills and can't get rid of them. Than she starts running a fever....this is not good !!! She tells Daddy that she must have kidney stones moving around, because her backside is hurting, or some sort of infection is going on. They call the hospital and they said she should cancel the surgery.....Ohhhh , nooooo :0 She's running a fever of 104 degrees for a day before it breaks, still getting the chills besides. They called to reschedule her surgery for Aug. 17th and Mama has to redo all her tests again before surgery. So needless to say, my birthday was chaotic and Mama was very upset besides being sick.

There is one thing she does want to say, and that is THANK YOU TO EVERYONE for the Gifts & Birthday Wishes to make my day nice. I'm very lucky to have such great friends . I'm sorry this is so late in coming, but today is the first day Mama felt good enough to go on the 'puter. She has lots of emails to catch up on......Hugs to all and THANK YOU, again !

Prince Charming of the Week in PDPC

TAH - DAH............Guess what ? I was picked to be the Prince Charming of the Week in PDPC ! This is such an honor, that I'm barking all over the place ! Wait until Daddy hears this, he'll be so proud of me . I bet I'll even get a special treat from him . Thank you to everyone in PDPC for picking me. Well, I better get going, because I have to finish up in the group and than maybe we'll go shopping . I love going for rides........see 'ya !!!

What a special Group !!!

Considering my own Mama didn't even remember, I am very lucky to be part of a special group...Princess Divas and Prince Charmings ! BAILEY remembered it was my Gotcha Day and I was also made Royal Member of the Day !!! How special is that !!! I want to say a special THANK YOU to them for remembering me. If it would have been Maizy, Mama would have remembered, somehow the rest of us get lost in the shuffle...lol ! Not really...I have it very good here, just like the others. I get to sleep on the couch or beds, lots of treats, walks...but not too far, because of my foot. I am very lucky, I have a great home and great friends...thank you to everyone ! I love Dogster !

It's Birthday Time !

Guess what ? Tomorrow is June 1st & that means it's MY BIRTHDAY !! Not MAIZY'S Birthday, but MINE !!! I'm so happy ! Mama & Daddy spoil me rotten, even though I'm sassy ( I bark a lot ). I just hold up my poor messed up paw & give them "that look" ! All you Dals know what "that look" is !!! I just know Daddy's going to get me a special cupcake or cookie, he always does that for all of us. Daddy's a pushover when it comes to that ! Last year,when I was found wandering the streets, they put me in a shelter and called the owners. They called them several times , but they never answered and didn't want me. Thankfully, Dal Savers rescued me & Mama decided to foster me. I played up to her real good and she fell for me the first week. The rest is history ! Well, I better go now & rest up for the big party tomorrow. Be sure and come by for some Birthday Cake....Bye !

I'M ROYAL DOG OF THE DAY in PDPC !!!

Yippee, I was picked as ROYAL DOG OF THE DAY IN PRINCESS DIVAS AND PRINCE CHARMINGS ! How's that for someone who was just picked up off the streets and put in shelter !!! I can't believe it , such an honor....it made my day !!! I'm happy, happy, happy !!! I'm so lucky to have been rescued by Dal Savers and adopted by my Mama ! Well, I was supposed to be fostered by Mama, but I played up to her and Mama fell in love with me. What can I say ? She felt so bad for me with my bad foot and saw I had such spirit , that she knew she had to keep me. So the rest is history and here I am. I have a great sister and brother (Maizy and Sammy), great cousins ( Tipper, Max and Quinn) and a wonderful bunch of pals here on Dogster ! Thank you and love to you all !

ANIMAL RESCUER'S CREED

I'll never bring about world peace.
I won't singlehandedly save the rain forest.
I'm not a brain surgeon and I'll never transplant an organ to save a life.
I don't have the ear of a powerful politician or world power.
I can't end world hunger.
I'm not a celebrity, and God knows I'm not glamorous!
I'm not looked up to by millions around the world.
Very few people even recognize my name.
I'll never win the Nobel prize or end global warming.
There are a lot of things that I'll never do or become.

But today I helped place an animal!

It was a small, scared, bundle of flesh and fur that was dumped at a shelter, or on the streets by unfeeling people who didn't care what happened to it, but yet who were responsible for it having existence in the first place.

I helped find it a loving home.
It now has contentment and an abundance of love.
A warm place to sleep and plenty to eat.
Two little children have a warm and playful new friend who will give them unending affection and teach them about responsibility and love.
A wife and mother has a new free spirit to cuddle, nurture and care for.
A husband and father has a furry friend to sit in his lap at the end of a hard day of work and help him relax and enjoy life.
And a sense of satisfaction, that when he is gone all day at work, that there is a gentle spirit in his home keeping watch over his family.

No, I'm not a rocket scientist. But today, I made a difference!

And I'll do it tomorrow, too, if given a chance.

WOW , I am overwhelmed ! I was picked as DOTM in TWO of my groups.....Princess Divas and Prince Charmings and Black-and-tan Dogz of the world ! This is such an honor for a newcomer such as me ! Maybe I'll be following in my fursis Maizy's steps...she's quite popular you know ( or so she thinks) . I guess I'll be quite busy now...you know, making appearances and such ! Well, I better go and get all spiffed up, because now I'm a celebrity . Let's see...get my nails trimmed, get a bath, have my teeth cleaned, get some Doggie Cologne...oh, and a new collar !
