Momma,Our Gift To You On Mother's Day....

We sent the Monarch butterflies your way.
Feeding on the little buttons of sunshine lace.
A gentle breeze touching your face.
The bright sun to make your day.
Lavender blossoms on lilac bushes were placed,
While pink honeysuckles did pop, a part of May.
Encouraging you to sit and stay,
Basking in the beauty of the day.
Sweetness lingered on the air today,
All for YOU on Mother's Day!

We Love You,Momma and watch over you everyday...
Your Angels Baby and Foxie

DEAR MOMMA......I never finished my note to you....
I was called away to greet and play with new arrivals
at the Bridge. I know you understand how important
this duty is....

Anyway, I will always miss you....I watch over
you everyday.......I LOVE YOU THIS MUCH........
Stretches her Paws....
I will be waiting, when it is your turn to come
and find all of your pack.

I'm happy you had a little break on Mother's
Day. What lovely plants McKenzie and Jaxcen
brought you....They sure are growing...I
wish, Jaxcen had been old enough for the lake
and fishing, when I was still there. We would
have had a ball......I would have shared
a floatie with him. Helped him chase minnows
into a pail. Did you tell him, I caught a pike
with my teeth one time? I bet you had
forgotten?
Sending you angel kisses and sweet dreams
Angel Foxie

How Could I Forget?

What a surprise Foxie to find a Gotcha Day picture from the CDAC group today.... What a beautiful picture....It has been placed on your page.

When Mom realized,I was so wrapped, up in my To-Do's...I forgot the Special Day .... The day,I took you, as a young pup to be my new fur baby.... I was very SAD...How could I forget, such an Important Day?

There isn't a day that goes by, that I do not think about you.... I guess forgetting the day you rode back to Great-Grandma's house with me...to begin your life with me.....Means the HOLE in my Heart has slowly mended.

Only the zillion wonderful memories remain behind....Life goes on... Time and Mazy helped me move forward after losing you. Mazy was such a challenge as a puppy that she kept my hands so very busy. As a young puppy.
You immediately wanted to please me. No matter what! In less than a week, you would retrieve your toys. I found that amazing for such a young puppy.

You and Baby are always with me....I walk by, where you both were laid to rest on a regular basis. I stop and talk to you both...
It's time to clean your graves. Place new springy silk flowers there for you both. I have beautiful bright pink carnations and daisies to place there.

Well, sweetheart, I'll talk to you later. You and Baby have things to do..... I can see you both running and playing in the meadows of my mind. I LOVE YOU Both and always will....Hard to believe, that you've been gone 5 years on June 14th. Baby has been gone 1 year on June 3rd. Little Mazy will be 5 years old in July....Wow! Where did the last 5 years go???????

All My Love,
Mom

OUR Canadian Pal,Miss Abby posted this...We are trying to Help her pass the word along! I'm sure Star just wants to go Home!

Have you seen Star?
February 26th 2012 11:05 am

Pals, a friend of mommy's sister drives an 18-wheeler. His constant companion is his Sheltie, named Star. Star got spooked at a truck stop in Wisconsin on February 22 and ran away. She has been seen in the area around the truck stop, but is very scared and skittish. Star and her owner are from Canada so they are not familiar with the area. The owner's wife drove from Canada yesterday and has reported that Star has been seen in the area.

Please pass this along to anyone you know who might be familar with that area in Wisconsin.

Thanks.
Angel Foxie and Angel Baby,
May God guide and protect Star
until she is home safe with her
family.

Parties Are So Much Fun......

Well Mom, the January birthday party of the week for all the puppers and purrs was Pawtastic!Everyone had endless FUN!!!

We played games and ate until we needed a nap! I so enjoyed my steak, green beans and watermelon. I had oatmeal and peanut-butter cookies for snacks. We had the most pawsome, heavenly vanilla cake with ice cream.

We played every kind of game, you can think of. I WON the Apple Bobbing Contest! Baby cheered me on, as I won round after round of Bobbing. You know her...she isn't putting her face under the water! She was more at Home with the scavenger hunt.... She's has a Perfect Nose up here! We played hide-n-seek, one of my favorites...There are a lot of pups and purrs here, who are experts at hide-n-seek. I chased huge bunches of balloons as they drifted through the air....

When the day was over, I was so tired....Before, I settled down for the night: Baby and I looked down to see what You,Dad,Mazy and Precious were doing. I saw that you, baked Monster cookies on my birthday. I could close my eyes and remember the smell of your kitchen.

We blew angel kisses to all of you...then Baby and I curled up together and slept. Dreaming of the day, we will see you coming across the bridge.

I must once again thank all those pals who sent greetings to me.... They helped make the day extra special. Their greetings made the day easier for you, that was the BEST gift of ALL!
Love you Mom,
Angel Foxie

Today Is My 18th. Birthday

There's a party at the bridge today for all the pups and purrs who had birthdays this week. There will games, cake, ice cream and all the yummy meatz we can eat! I'll report later on the Bridge Party and all the Fun Stuff, we had to do...

Thank you dogster pals for remembering my birthday. I've been gone 5 yrs. in June. I still miss my Momma as much as she misses me....Time has made it easier for both of us.....
It's easier for me now, because Angel Baby is here with me. We spent most of our lives together. We are always together, watching over our furmily. Waiting for the day our family is once again complete.

Momma has Amazing Grace...She keeps Momma company and entertains her. Keeps her moving so she won't give in to her own health issues. She is easier for Momma to manage, because she is so much smaller, than I was. She has grown into a True Prairie Pup!

Momma and I, will always have a different connection than with any of her other fur babies. I was there to pull her through some of the roughest days of her life. I saved her from the depression that brought darkness so deep, it threatened to take her away from me. I went every step of the way with her while we rehabilitated her injured, sick spine. There is a bond that no one could ever break....

Enough sadness...Today is a day to Celebrate all the Wonderful years I had with Momma. How much we enriched and blessed each others lives. I love you Momma!
I hear everyone, calling....The party will start soon. I'll be back to tell you how we spent the day.
Love you, Angel Foxie

Remembering You

For the pups beyond the Rainbow Bridge,
We bow our heads, we shed some tears,
We know that nothing can take the place
Of the furry pals we loved so dear.
And even as the years go by,
A remembered nudge, a lick, a sigh
An old photograph will bring them back,
And tears will fall from many an eye.

We thank the good Lord up above,
For your doggy smile and unconditional love
The way you felt within our arms,
Your bark, your whine, your many charms.
We thank Him for your listening ear
The warmth of your body when you pressed it near.
Is it so surprising really, that you are called DOG.
You're a pretty good reflection of the love of our GOD.

For the pups beyond the Rainbow Bridge,
A voice is heard at bridge's end.
"Well done, true and faithful friend."
Your job and journey is completed on earth.
Play in the flowerfields, bask in the sun...
Chase with your pals and have great fun.
But keep your ears cocked while you're chewing that bone
You'll hear familiar footsteps---your human's come home.

Big Bridge Thank You to All ....And A Big Surprise

Just like to say how surprised, Angel Baby and I were to receive so many Holiday Pressies. We want to thank everyone for remembering us at Christmas Time.

We hope that everyone had a Pawsome Christmas. Enjoyed all their family, friends and pals. Gma was real surprised to find all the pressies on her Angels pages. It was a wonderful, unexpected Blessing. The outpouring of love found at dogster and catster.

Our family on the North Dakota Prairie had their prayers answered. They did have a BROWN Christmas.... No Snow! It was 49 degrees and the sun was shining! Everyone was so very happy!

The past 3 winters have been very harsh for them. By now, they had already endured 3 full months of winter. Winter this year will be shortened up ....No matter what happens in the New Year.

We also had another Big surprise just before Christmas. Gma was notified by The Forget Me Not Group that Angel Baby's Christmas Picture had won an award. This being the 1st. Christmas without Baby, the surprise somehow made it easier for Gma. The picture of the award is posted on Baby's page. Little Pete made the picture for Angel Baby. If you have a chance, you can Zoom by and see Baby's award....

Wishing everyone and the furmilies a Very Happy New Year.
Angel Foxie and Angel Baby

STAR THROWER

This was too beautiful not to share! It is from the Bruised Not Broken Rescue Center!

“The Star Thrower”: Once upon a time, there was a man who used to go to the ocean to do his writing. He had a habit of walking on the beach before he began his work. One day, as he was walking along the shore, he looked down the beach and saw a human figure moving like a dancer. He smiled to himself at the thought of someone who would dance to the day, and so, he walked faster to catch up. As he got closer, he noticed that the figure was that of a child, and that what he was doing was not dancing at all. The child was reaching down to the shore, picking up small objects, and throwing them into the ocean. He came closer still and called out “Good morning! May I ask what it is that you are doing?” The young boy paused, looked up, and replied “throwing starfish into the ocean.” “I must ask, then, why are you throwing starfish into the ocean?” asked the somewhat startled man. To this, the boy replied, “The sun is up and the tide is going out. If I don’t throw them in, they’ll die.” Upon hearing this, the man commented, “But, young man, do you not realize that there are miles and miles of beach and there are starfish all along every mile? You can’t possibly make a difference!” At this, the child bent down, picked up yet another starfish, and threw it into the ocean. As it met the water, he said, “It made a difference to that one.”
