sending wishes from the bridge
Momma- Baby and I have been watching you through all the fall projects to be ready for winter. You've been very busy!
We can almost smell the goodies baking in your kitchen.... We so remember all the nibbles, when you baked. Since we're Angels we know what you are having for Thanksgiving....It will be delish!Leave a piece of pie out for Us....Maybe, we can fly bye and have a snack???? Have to check with the master angels to see, if that is allowed?????
Here at the bridge, we have a banquet table full of anything and everything we would like to eat. Nothing makes us sick or fat.... We can enjoy things, we could never eat down there with you. Like chocolate!!!!! It does taste as good as it Smells!
I know this is the 1st. Thanksgiving without Baby and you're still catching yourself looking for her. Thinking it is time to let her outside. It is the 5th. Thanksgiving without me. We are so happy here.... We have such a good time playing games...We watch the bridge, knowing someday you will come through here to find your pack of a lifetime. We've made lots of new pals recently. There have been alot of senior puppers join us this fall.... We are all healthly and active seniors...We try and look out for the young puppers, that came too soon to the bridge. Many of them never had a home and people to love them.
We tell them stories and really fuss over them....
We also noticed that since Mazy turned 4....she is now normal, like most smooth haired doxies! She's not loving the cold as she did her 1st. 4 winters... It's good that she doesn't enjoy the cold weather anymore. We see, every year the winter is harder on you. It's wonderful, that when it is bitter outside,
she just uses a pee pad to potty. She is small enough ...it is no big deal. So much easier for your rough physical stretches.
Baby and I sure wish we'd been there Saturday evening.... We would have been in the middle of all the action. We watched and laughed as Dad struggled to skin the deer in 8 degree weather.
All those barn cats hovered waiting for him to abandon the remains.... Mom made you clean that mess up! She cooked meat for the kitties...She said, they were too young to be eating raw meat.... Boy, Baby and I would sure have enjoyed, scaring those cats all over the ranchyard. Sure we could have spooked them.....Been alot of years since Dad had to skin a deer.
It was fun to watch him remember what he needed to do 1st...
He even froze his hands, as it was very cold.... We sure would have helped him with the cleanup... All kinds of yummy goodies there to munch on. I know, anything like that always made me puke, but not Baby.
It was a long night for you..... Took until midnight for you guys and our good friends to de-bone 2 deer. All done and froze up until time to make sausage in January. Sure has been cold there lately. We've heard it should warm into the 40's for the holiday and weekend. Can't believe how much the grandkids have grown since I left. OMD! They are so BIG! 7 and 10 now.... I sure do miss those kids.... They were so much Fun!
I heard yelling about a ball game....I'd better go, as I never turn down the opportunity to play ball.... Baby is going to visit with you a little. She wanted to chat with you about the Puter problems....
All My Love,
