Arrival Story:
A man I worked with bought Buddy and was complaining how he couldnt house train him at 10 weeks and that he would spank him. I couldnt stand hearing about it so he finally said he was going to get rid of him and I offered to "foster" him till he could find a home. We decided to keep him over the weekend and he called me on Sunday saying he had several buyers. My husband & I were already attached, even though we already had 4 dogs we couldnt see him leave. The best decision we ever made.

Buddy's been with us since he was 12 weeks old. Even though he is the smallest "child" we have he is the Alpha male. My husband & I love him so much and can't imagine life without him.

Hi pals! I know it's been forever since I barked but Mom is addicted to the Book of Faces now! We deserve so much more time on Dogster but just so our pals know we read and look at all your entries we just don't comment as much!
Mom has gotten involved in dog rescue and dog transport since being on the book of faces. She says it's her "calling". Have no idea what she is talking about because I call her all the time and she ignores me!
Mom started seeing so many dogs that are abandoned and put in shelters and PTS daily she felt she needed to do what she could to help. Mom can't go to a shelter without having a break down but she networks on computer and helps rescue groups.
Well, let me bark about our foster, Lily, part yorkie part shih tzu. My Daddy found her walking down a road not far from home on a rainy day. He stopped and she came right to him, she was dirty, full of ticks and limping. Well after a long story we found out her femur in her hip was completely broken and no telling how long she had been walking around that way :(
Well Mom had to do a fundraiser on the book of faces to help pay for her surgery because she said the foster dogs are breaking her! So many of our dogster pals donated money and paid for her surgery. Mom was so overwhelmed how kind people were to a dog they never met! A big THANK YOU again to those people, and you all know who you are!
Well Mom had to find her a home because for some reason she didn't like me! Can you believe that???? I'm the pack leader! She would follow me around and bark at me all the time and try to push me away from MOM. I put up with it for a few weeks and then one day I snapped! Mom broke us up but knew she had to find Lily a home...fast! A wonderful pal of ours that is on Dogster got in contact with us and said her Mom wanted to adopt her. They live about 1.5 hours from us! Mom took Lily for a visit and it was a perfect match. Lily is so loved and has 2 new fursisters. They are so nice and still send pictures and updates on Lily! We are happy she has a new home!
Now, the other foster is Chloe, a rat/jr terrier mix. We got her in June when she was 10 weeks old. She is now about 6 mths. Mom was at Tractor & Supply one night and a teenage boy was up front trying to get people to take these 2 puppies he had left. Mom ignored him at first but realized he was desperate and said he had to get "rid" of them that night. MOm and another nice lady took the last 2 home. Mom was scared to walk in with her cause Daddy had no idea, but you know Daddy, he is a softy when it comes to us pups! Chloe was covered in fleas but pretty healthy. Mom has been trying to adopt her out but had no luck! Mom can't believe that no one wants a cute puppy. Chloe loves playing with my pack and is hyper but very sweet...just being a normal puppy! She needs a home with at least one other young pup to play with her. Mom will post pictures of her and a picture of Lily. If anyone knows of anyone interested in adopting Chloe they can send her a message and Mom will send them the application. It's getting so hard because the longer Chloe is here, the more attached we are and we already feel she is part of the family, but Mom says trying to afford 5 dogs is just too much and Chloe deserves a family that loves her and can spend time with her.
Mom says fostering is very hard. When she had to leave Lily that day, she said it was one of the hardest things she had done but she knew it was a perfect, loving home. Mom says she has to harden up a little bit. Mom would like to do "short term" fosters from now on if she can.
Oh, Mom won a ticket to BarkWorld that will be in ATL at the end of October. THANK YOU SO MUCH DOGSTER!!!!! Me and Mom went last year and had a pawsome time but this year Mom has decided to take either Petey or Molly. I'm ok with that cause I can spend more time with my Daddy :)
Mom had told Petey & Molly to be on their best behavior so she can decide which one to take!LOL Hopefully they will get to meet more Dogster pups!
Well have a great week pals and bark at you later!

Hi pups!
Wow, once Mom started me going to a groomer it seems like she takes me every day! I thought I got out of it this past Saturday cause they took Scooter and he came back shaved! He was starting to look like a baby bear and he gets furry hot with all that fur. He had to stay there all day cause she was furry busy and "fit" him in that day.
Well yesfurday I thought all was good cause Momma was at work but Daddy actually grabbed me up and took me to the groomer...I thought Daddy was on my side! Well Momma gave him furry strict instructions on how to groom me. Cut the face and neck short but keep the sides long, only trim them. Momma has been letting my sides grow long for over 2 years. I only stayed long enough for the groom cause they give orders that I can't stay there, as soon as they are finished Daddy has to come get me, so they always do me first.
Well Daddy picked me up and called momma for the report! He "then" told her that he had the groomer cut an inch or more from my sides! Momma was not happy and Daddy said you wanted it trimmed and Momma said a trim is like a quarter of an inch! Me and Daddy like the short hair cause I look more like a boy...that long hair is too girly! Well Daddy said he would send momma a picture at work and did but guess what? I was sitting down so she could only see my face and couldnt tell about the sides...we kind of tricked momma..hehehe
Momma couldnt get home from work fast enough. I was hiding but she found me and actually she said it wasnt as bad as she was thinking. It looks nice but she still didnt want it that short. IT WILL GROW BACK MOMMA!!!
Well have a great weekend and try to stay away from the groomers, if you can. Oh, of course Mom will post pictures of the new haircut!
