Sadness Seems to Effect Us All

As you all know, we lost Angel on May 4th due to cancer. It was so sudden that it shocked us all. Angel was my bestest friend in the whole wide world. When mommy brought me home from that awful place where they had me in a cage, Angel was the only nice dog I knew (except for mommy's old Collie that gave me baths!). All the other doggies in the cage growled at me. Angel and I played together, went on walks together, took baths together, everything! Now all I have is the cats...and they don't like me. I feel so lonely and I miss him so much.

Mommy says I am meaner to the kitten. I chase her and snap at her when she tries to steal mommy's attention but can they blame me? I'm heartbroken.

What should mommy do?
