today has been another good day, my kitty and i played and we found a quail bird, a fat little thing, actually i would like tohave had it for lunch but my mom said no way, leroy, so we put it in a cage and gave it water and food, we think it fell off of a quail truck, but we are not sure, anyway a new member of the family i guess, i have a pet kitty, and my pet kitty has a pet quail, funny don't you think, well it is getting close to quitting time and i an ready to go home, i want to lie on my sofa pillow under the fan and take another well deserved nap, gooddnite for now, we will see what tomorrow brings...love leroy

Today at my airport has been very slow, you know it is just like someone turned off the airplanes, kinda like you turn off the water, one minute busy and lots of planes and the next, very slow and no planes, but either way i still get my naps and i get my treats, so i like it both ways, i get more bellyrubs when we are busy but i get more naps when we are slow, i love my job and my mom got me a new kitty, my very own pet, sometimes i push it with my nose an di grab it a little with my teeth, and it will jump and hiss at me but i think it loves me anyway, well almost time to go home now, we had a few late planes and had to stay over a little but that is okay because the weather was very nice and breezey today just right for this airport security dog...night night now ...love leroy

Well today was a good day at my airport, very busy and lots of things to sniff. I have had a lot of fun doing all kind of things like swimming an dflying in my airplane and riding in my mini cooper. I am a good security dog too. i turn right over on my back for people to rub my belly. well almost quitting time . gotta go home now....love leroy

Today at my airport was really scarey the dogcatchers came again and i was hiding under the desk so they could not get me. If my dad was here he would not let them get me. I love him and i miss him, I tried to call him bu ti do not know his number I think it is 485-4001 but no I think that is the vets number Dr. Gailey, I just can not remember... am I dreaming again about dogcatchers oh fooey, I just am not sure.... dad i miss you and I love you,, see ya soon love leroy

June 2,2006 A day in the Life of An Airport Security Dog

Friday, June 2,2006, Boy today was busy too. I had a lot of bags and stuff to sniff and my mom had to go to a meeting and I had to stay at the airport, I hate it when she leaves me behind. Especially when my Dad is not home or here, I love my dad and I miss him. I am so worried about him, you see he is so sweet and kind and I am worried that people will bother him or hurt him, but I love him very much, we have been busy and we have had big and small airplanes and we have had lots of food to fix too. Katie and Diana have been busy with camps and other stuff, and I have had hardly any time for naps,, and I need my naps, then a big thunderstorm came up and I hate thunder and lightnening they are SCAREY, I hide under my moms desk and I hide in the ladies bathroom. Finally we got to go home and I was so tired I went right to sleep and my mom too. Goodnite for now...I love you dad where ever you are....love leroy

Today at my airport was very busy, we had lots of planes and I had lots of work to do....my dad is still away and I a miss him very much...he is avery sweet dad, my mom worked very hard today and had lots of helpers, thank goodness for that. Her best helper is Sims, he is nice too. He gives me potato chips, my sisters are busy with camp and stuff like that and my brother Tyler helps at the airport, my mom has a meeting with a friend tomorrow to help the other animals, I hope it goes good...well time to go now, love leroy

Today at my airport, we were very busy, my sister Kaite went to summer camp again and my sister Diana helped at the airport too. We had lots of planes and lots of stuf to do, My mom finished cleaning up the hanger and the upstairs and then she had to go to her other job at Normans. Katie and Diana went to Bible School and they had fun. I went home with Tyler and went to sleep...good nite for now ....love leroy
