Hello...from out of the swampy, squishy ground around here, I want to wish all of my pals a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend.
For me it is super! My boss-boy is home, and I have heard talk that perhaps my auntie and her pup, my doggy cousin Murphy may be visiting. Hooray! He is the same age as I am, but being a Cairn Terrier he is a lot smaller than me, in fact he can fit underneath me! BOL!

Thanks to all the servicemen past and present who work hard to keep us free, and who sometimes had to make the ultimate gift to their country.

We continue to have buckets and buckets of rain...downpours, storms and drizzle...I think the sun has gone into retirement! However, I have heard that we should have hot and sunny(?) weather for the holiday...but I won't hold my breath.
Perhaps like Zaidie wrote we all need to be building arks so we can safely float, and keep our furs & feet dry...and our food, too of course. Better get started ASAP, it is raining right now:(
Please Mr Sun, come and dry us out and warm up my damp bones!

Our family is also pawyering and keeping all the folks and their pets in our thoughts, that were affected by those recent and horrible storms.

The peeps next door worked like busy beavers all week, but now they are gone, presumably to have a holiday like so many others are doing.
After they left, I saw some deer there, and some other varmints...which of course I had to go and woof at...too bad the peeps are not there so I can give them an early am alarm bark tomorrow, BOL!

The sun obviously is on vacation or has retired down here in TX...so much sunshine, heat and humidity! There's enough to share with everyone!! :o/ We should trade off rain for sun for awhile.

Mommy is complaining that one day we have the heat on and the next the air. Looks like Mr. Sunshine will make an appearance today but not for long.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend with your family. Any special plans for your woof-day? Cake maybe? Pawty? Cheeseburgers????

Yeah, we are having that 'yo-yo' weather, too...it was dry but foggy this morning, and now we are thinking some more rain is coming to water us yet again, in the form of severe thunderstorms.
We have had the AC on too, a couple of times and the heater in the early am.
Tomorrow it is supposed to be around 90 and very humid, so yucky!

Sophie Bean, I had my woof day of April 30, and hope to have my Gotcha day on June 10...BOL!
Cheeseburgers still sound yummy, though. I shall have to see if I can mooch one from the BBQ we are having tomorrow at our den, here...

Yes, and we just got another inch and a half or more...we had a tornado go through our area...just south of here. We are all OK here though. One of the schools in town had the roof taken off, as well as those from a lot of businesses, and trees down allover the place, on cars, homes and even the main highway.
The lightning was phenomenal...never saw such a show! I even went out (Silly me) to go and howl at the sirens that were blaring for quite a long while.
Better bring your hip waders if you plan to come here to borrow some of the rain...

OMD! We has the non-stop rains in the Mounds of Minnesnowdah, too, Freckles! MUD! MUD! MUD! Evfurrywhere! And tornados, and hails, and thunderboomers.

Hey, My Mama wuffs the picfurs of that Murfee guy! OMD! She wants to squeeze his little corn dog buns off. I said Mama, IT ARE CAIRN DOG, SILLY! She talkses so crazy sometimes. I am kinda Cairn Doggieish like your cuzin, Murfee, too! YAY!
