Humph! GRRR! BOOO!
BOL! Oh MJF... Happy Easter to you, too! Wow I think my momma would let me get that snake...momma does not like any snakes! You get back out there and get it! Hoppy Easter! Woof Woof, Molly BOL...thank goodness you didn't get bit by that snake though Sounds like you had fun findin' that snake! Sounds like you had every right to bark at it - it was hissing at you! Did you let it know this is YOUR yard??!! Have a Blessed Easter! ~Anya Rolling in the leaves and the dirt!!! YAY! That's the good life! Happy Easter Freckles! That snake is too smart, it didn't come back...and even though it was just a non poisonous garden snake, they can bite...and if so I likely would have had to go to the vet for treatment...cause I heard they can get infected. YUCK! By the way, Growlmy is not scared of snakes, she finds them interesting and has held many of them in her hands. A long time ago some little boy tried to scare her with a 'little brown snake', a species that is very tiny and thin, like a brown pencil, almost. This guy surprised her by presenting it to her, in her face, mind you,...and growlmy said to that boy(Not one of her own boys...),"Wow, thats a nice snake, Can I hold it for you?" That kid about fell over, because he thought he was going to make growlmy scream! BOL! The prettiest snake she ever saw was a blue racer. Also a multicolored snake, not sure of the breed, it was red and yellow in bands., in Ontario on a farm. Now that you are all shuddering: Once again, Happy Easter! Crikey mite!! Don't hurt that snike! You've got to share tertory with the beaut! (My Croc Hunter impression) Aaaaaaaand... Hope you had a great Easter! Happy Easter! Love and hugs to all! ~Cooper & The Gang~ BOL, Cooper! Thanks for the oh so cute picture! I had a great Easter...eggcept I didn't get any eggs... You've seen a Blue Racer? Lucky. I can identify every snake species in my area of Ontario but I haven't gotten to see that many in the wild (I'm just seriously unlucky at finding them) Just Garters, Watersnakes, one tiny Ring-Necked snake and a Dekay's Brown snake. I have, however, had the pleasure of being a caretaker for various awesome species such as a Milksnake, a Foxsnake, Black Rat Snakes (my favorite!) and a Massasauga Rattlesnake. That's a lot of interesting snakes! Woofs! Once I saw a big and fat watersnake down by the creek, sunning itself on a shrub branch above the flowing water. |
