It's Christmasy time here, pups! The Ho Ho tree is decorated and my stocking is hanging up and ready to be STUFFED BOL! I've been real good this year, Ho Ho, even though Momma had to pay an arm and a leg when I got sick this summer. Actually, she says she's still paying an arm and a leg, but it'll be paid off eventually.

Last night Momma had the urka gurkas real bad. She wouldn't let me in the bathroom with her to take care of her, so I sat outside of the door and made little woof sounds. When she stumbled back into bed I snuggled her real good. I thought for SURE she'd stay home with me today, but she didn't! She said there's too few people at work as it is since they let teachers go, so she's only calling off if she's really really sick. I dunno...I think having the urka gurkas is really really sick, but I'm just a pup. What do I know? Daddy yelled at her and said she needed to go back to bed, but noooooo...Momma is stubborn. Then DADDY came home feeling super urka gurka-y too, so now I gotta take care of BOTH of them! Momma says it's times like this when she wishes we had more than one bathroom!!

Gotta go, pups! I'm helping Momma mangle the Christmas cards. If you get one from us that's all messed up, it's Momma's fault. She shouldn't be doing this while she's sick!!! Silly Momma...

SHEESH!

Momma is CRABBY today, pups! She says if ONE MORE PERSON calls her fat or tells her she needs to join a gym, she's going to hit someone. And really pups, she's just cranky enough to do it. There's been a lot of swears going on here today. And then she broke her glasses. Yikes. Hide, pups, hide!! She's NOT HAPPY.

I love you no matter what you look like, Momma. You're my best good friend. And that's what's the best thing about us pups. We don't care how much you weigh, or if your pants got too tight, or you got a bad haircut, or what the color of your skin is. We love indiscriminately (Momma helped me with that big word...it means we love our peeps no matter WHAT). Love you, Momma!

WHAT??

You're never going to believe this, pups!! Momma, MY MOMMA, the clumsiest person in all of Dogsterland, managed to bake 2 pumpkin pies and make cranberry sauce, all without blowing anything up or spilling things or hurting herself in any way!!! It's a Thanksgiving miracle!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American pals! I'm very thankful for all my friends, including the ones who don't live here! Just cause it's not Thanksgiving everywhere doesn't mean I'm not thankful for you!!

Hi pups. Nothing new going on here. Momma and Daddy are super tired all the time, cause since they laid off so many people last year their workload has been higher. Momma told me, though, that after tomorrow, they only have two more early morning wake-ups, and then they're off for SIX WHOLE DAYS to be with me!!! Oh boy! I can't wait for morning snuggle times with Momma!! And then it's Thanksgiving, and then IT'S HO HO TIME!!!!!!!!!

I hope all my pals and your peeps are doing good and behaving yourselves so that you get lots of gifts from Ho Ho!!

I need your help, pups! Momma's computer died a few weeks ago, and all my Dogster pals addresses died with it. She had hoped Daddy would find a way to get some of her old stuff back, but no luck. RED ALERT RED ALERT!!!!

Pups, I need your help! I'm over at Grammy and Pap Pap's house watching the footballs, and I can't leave! I just heard Daddy tell Grammy that Momma is at home "doing stuff"! WHAT? Pups, you know how Momma is!! She's probably blowing something up or breaking something! Help! I need someone to check on her before she HURTS herself!! I'll give you MEATZ and cheese and all the bunnies you can chase, but SOMEONE GET OVER THERE!

Weird Day!

We survived the Sandy lady with no real damage, pups. It was very noisy last night and it rained and rained and rained. I would not go out to go potty no matter WHAT. I went peeps and pooh at 4 o'clock in the PM yesterday when Momma got home, and I didn't go again until 8:45 in the AM this morning. Momma can't believe I didn't go in the house. I'm a big boy, Momma, I wouldn't do that!

Today when Momma got home, she gave me my lunch. I started wolfing it down like CRAZY, and I started to choke. Momma was on the phone with Daddy and she was shouting "Fizzy's choking!!!" and he shouted back "Give him the Heimlich!!" and Momma shouted back again "I don't know how to do the Heimlich on a dog!!!" and just as Momma was about to jam her fingers down my throat to get my food unstuck, I puked all over the carpet. I coughed a few times while Momma caught her breath, then started to eat the puke. Momma thought that was gross.

Then later on, I was sitting on my couch, and I kept licking licking licking my foot. Momma looked over and saw that it was really red by the pad of my foot. It wasn't bleeding, I'm walking normal, and it doesn't hurt when she squeezes it. It looks sort of like dry skin. Should she put something on it to help my foot? I stopped licking it cause she told me to, but she says it looks "angry." My foot doesn't seem to be mad, though, so I dunno what she means. What do you pups think?

Stupid Sandy...

Rain rain RAIN!! That's all it's done since Saturday, pups! Momma says it's some lady named Sandy's fault. She said she's really really praying that we don't lose power, cause it's chilly and then the furnace won't work. It just started to get really windy outside. Momma hopes nothing gets blown into her new car. It's not even a month old yet!!

Momma's Famous!!

Momma is in the paper today, pups! She's a celebrity BOL!!

Momma and some of her teacher friends went to the library last night to hunt for ghosts. It was a special tour that Momma saw on The Book of Faces, and some of her friends really wanted to go, so off they went! Momma took her camera with her and took a bunch of pictures. The local newspaper went on the tour with Momma and friends and took a bunch of pictures, and Momma ended up in the paper! They interviewed her, too! Here's a link!
