Hmmmm...

I got a different Anonymous, pups. It's not the same giggly Anonymous (who I'm pretty sure is Ebby!!!). It's a different person, and he or she is quoting from Lady and the Tramp. I know some of you other pups got this too. Who are you, Anonymous 2? I always did love a good mystery!

In other news, me and Momma had the BEST weekend snuggle time this morning. Momma woke up with a sigh-nusses headache and she didn't wanna get out of bed, so we snuggled and kissed and hugged and snuggled some more...she said I'm the best medicine in the world!!!

In other news: SNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW! Actually, it's been snowing for about a week. Momma actually leaked a little bit when she woke up this morning and saw new snow over all the old snow. See, Momma isn't a winter kind of girl. She likes spring, and summer, and especially fall, cause that's when her garden is at its best. And she likes pumpkins. And Halloween. But not snow. I was supposed to go get my hairs cut tonight, but the snow just keeps coming and coming, so Momma changed my appointment until tomorrow, and she hopes it stops snowing. Me, I LOVE the snow! I like to stick my schnooter in it and blow so that it goes POOF all over my head!!!

I'm a Diary Pick today, pups! Thank you so much to everyone who sent me rosettes! You pups are so nice to me! Forrest and his family made me a picture, but it seems like pictures have fleas right now, so I'll put it up once Dogster takes a bath.

Very Sad News

Momma found out some very sad news today, pups. You pups all know Jiffy, Bella, Scooter, and Rosie. Their Momma posted today on the Book of Faces that their Daddy died. Momma knows a lot of you aren't on the Book of Faces, so she thought you would like to know so you can send your prayers and condolences.

We're so very sad.

I'm a Diary Pick today, pals! I think Dogster felt bad for me since Momma tried to waterboard me last night. I didn't speak to her all night. I ignored Daddy for a few hours, too, cause he blocked me from crawling under his desk when Momma came to get me to start the torture. Hmph.

I don't care how good you think I smell, Momma. NOT. WORTH IT.

Poor Momma...she's got the dreaded flu, pups. It's been going around here a LOT. Momma heard on the radio the other day that in Pittsburgh, 1 out of 3 cases going to the ER are the flu. That's 1 out of 3 in an HOUR. Sheesh. Momma thought "Wow, I haven't had the flu since I was a freshman in college!" That was about 37391837 years ago. And sure enough....the next day her throat started to hurt. Then her head. Then her sigh-nusses. Then her eyeballs. Then her teeth. Then the rest of her body. Then her head got hot. And hotter. And hotter.

She stayed home with me yesterday, and we spent almost the WHOLE day in bed. I did a real good job snuggling up to her when she got chilly. She won't let me kiss her face, so I've been kissing her hands and arms. I've been following her around everywhere she goes, just in case she needs me. Not that she's moving around a lot. It's mostly been from the recliner to the bed, but still...

It's hard taking care of a sick Momma, but I'll do it, cause she takes care of me!!

Poor Cousin Winnie

My poor cousin, Winnie, is sick, pups. She's been having seizures, and my Auntie took her to the vet. The vet stole some of her blood, and she said cousin Winnie might have epic let's see (MOMMA: epilepsy...the vet thinks she may have epilepsy, not epic let's see!). Momma says that's a real serious disease. She had a student many years ago who had epic let's see, and it was scary. Cousin Winnie also has high poe thigh road disease, too (MOMMA: *sigh* hypothyroid...), but she's gonna take medicine for that starting tomorrow. Auntie looked it up on the Interwebs, and sometimes dogs who have high poe thigh road have seizures, so everyone is sure hoping that the medicine helps everything. Momma says Cousin Winnie is a sweet pup. We met once, but I didn't like her, which Momma thought was weird cause normally I LOVE big dogs (Cousin Winnie is a golden retriever). Well guess what Auntie read?! Sometimes dogs who have high poe thigh road disease have a lot of abnormal fear, which makes other dogs dislike them!!! So once she starts taking her medicine, we're gonna try to meet again and see what happens!!
