A Day In the Life of the Fizzy

Time for your daily Fizzy update! Fizzy ate some bland food this morning "with enthusiasm" and has kept it down. The vet said he still has some pain in his abdomen. It's not as bad as it was, but she feels safer keeping him one more day on the fluids and low pain meds, then switching him to an oral pain med so he can come home (probably tomorrow). She thinks he may have slight pancreatitis based on the abdominal pain, which they treat the same as they have been treating him. He'll need another ultrasound in 2-3 weeks to check on the gallbladder. We're going to visit him tonight so I can shower him with hugs and kisses!
