Momma finally got to plant her garden, pups, and I got to help!

Momma was in the backyard yesterday digging and digging and digging. She went out right after school and didn't come back in for a gazillion years! So Daddy took me out back with her! Momma made him stay, though, just in case I found a baby bunny and she was stuck on the ground with a bunch of plants in her lap.

Anywho, Momma planted tons and TONS of tomatoes! It made her a little bit sad, cause back before I had rocks in my belly, Momma used to take me out back and pick cherry tomatoes and we'd share them, right off the vine! But I'm not allowed to eat them no more. So she had a sniffle about that, but she got over that real fast, cause she's just happy that I'm healthy.

While Momma was on the ground playing in the dirt, I circled around the garden. She was REAL happy about that, cause she hopes my smell will keep the furry woodland creatures, especially those pesky chipmunks, away! So now I'm a gardener now, too!

And get this! While Momma was watering her garden today, a chipmunk ran up our neighbor's sidewalk (right next to her garden), and she sprayed it with the hose! BOL! Momma's turning into a crazy lady! Next she's gonna have a cane and shake it at the neighborhood kids and croak "Stay off my lawn!!" BOL BOL!! She said the chipmunk ran as fast as it could in the opposite direction! Maybe they'll stay away for a little while, cause boy those chipmunks make her nuts!!

Chipmunks?? Those sound like something to grab and do the shake, shake to!!!

I supervise my Momma in the garden... she weeds and prunes her flowers and I watch her from a chaise lounge... BOL!!

Now if you sees your momma outside in her bathrobe & house slippers, with a rake in her hand, yelling "You chipmunks stay outta my garden!" Start worrying Fizzy. I's jus saying.

It sounds like your Mommy likes to dig, a trait which will make any dog proud of their human. Do you need a cookbook with recipes for chipmunk? I hope your Mommy didn't plant any of those killer tomatoes that Hollywood made documentaries about. I have written countless diaries about the killer tomatoes, and still the humans plant them. Do the humans ever learn?

I think the varmint hunting skills that you have, Fizzy, have rubbed off on your Momma! BOL!
I helped growlmy, too, yesterday, by doing a bunch of digging while she was beheading weeds...isn't it more complete to dig them out, rather than just beheading them?

We planted some tomato at our house too. Both Hamish & I patrol the yard trying to keep all the varmits away. I chase the squirrels and Hammy chases the birds. We both bark at the cats!
