I'm in trouble, pups. Actually, Daddy is in way more trouble than I am.

See, I like to chew on cloth. I always have. That's why I used to collect Daddy's socks, see. I'd chew on em for a bit, and that was fun! Until one day I realized I could rip chunks of the cloth off and EAT it. Well, needless to say, Momma put an end to that REAL fast. She went out and bought a new hamper with a lid, and I'm not allowed in the bedroom no more during the day. I maybe sorta chewed a hole in Momma's new sheets she got for Christmas.

Anyhow, Momma keeps reminding Daddy "Make sure all your dirty clothes go in the hamper!" Daddy is kinda lazy, see, and sometimes when he misses the hamper he doesn't bother to pick things up, which makes Momma super insane. Anyhow, he USED to leave his PJ pants in the bathroom in the morning, but then I chewed a hole in his Steelers PJ pants. Momma says it was a lesson well learned.

Well. Daddy forgot to take his PJ pants outta the bathroom yesterday morning. They were bright green ones. When Momma came home, she found them in the hall with a HUGE hole in them. She knew I ate some of that cloth. She kinda went into panic mode. She searched everywhere to see if I had dragged the cloth away somewhere else. But nope! It was resting comfortably in my belly! O. M. D. You would not BELIEVE how Momma yelled at Daddy when he got home! He got mad at ME and then SHE yelled even MORE at HIM, saying I'm a dog and I don't know any better! Well, I actually DO, but, you know, it's so TEMPTING.

Anyhow, Momma said if I had to have surgery to remove the large piece of PJ pants outta my belly, Daddy was in a HEAP of even MORE trouble. But rest easy, pups. I pooped it all out today in small chunks. Momma knows, see, cause she followed me around the snowy yard all day and checked my pooh for bright green cloth. (She even had to pull a small piece out of my pooper!!! Shhhhh! Don't tell her I told you that!)

Daddy's still in trouble, though. Momma says he's EXTREMELY lucky I pooped it out and that it didn't get stuck in my insides.

I guess my New Year's resolution shoulda been to eat less PJ pants.

Do you think Daddy has FINALLY learned his lesson?

Let's hope so, Fizzy-- please don't eat any more cloth-- we don't want you to have to have surgery!

Maybe you could star on that show "My Strange Addiction"-- don't think they have had any pants eaters on there....but maybe they have....

OMD! Fizzy be careful with your addiction to cloth. Having cloth inside the tummy can be dangerous. I had some once for a snack and ended up in surgery.

Your Daddy better do something nice to your Mommy to make peace with her and gain some points.

I don't eats mama's socks but I chews holes in 'em alla time. Mama efun have a hamper wif a lid but Baby (my kitty-sisfur) gets 'em out an dec'rates a living room wif 'em. Me an Baby is a good team, but mama is not happy cuz she have no socks.

I'm trying real hard to be good tonight, pups! Momma says it's not ME she's mad at, but Daddy. I'm only a pup, after all, and she says Daddy should know better by now!! She NEVER leaves out things that could get me into trouble, but Daddy does!! She'll fix him real good, pups, don't you worry!!

Pepper, Momma says she is NOT paying to replace any clothes I may or may not have chewed a hole in. She says he'll have to walk around naked first. THAT'LL teach him a lesson! BOL!

Glad it all came out! Why would you want to eat fabric??? It is not foods or razor blades or something yummy like that!! Although I do like licking fabrics and clothes sometimes . . . Hopefully your daddy learned his lesson.

Lil' Bear is funny! I don't like eatin' da fabrics, eeder, but Greta used to chew on blankies when she first came to live wif Mommy, but Mommy broke her from dat. We're glad you're okay, Fizzy!! Bad Daddy!

Fizzy maybe if you tell him what Mama said at the time I had my cloth snack he would listen.

Mama kept saying that it was the most expensive sock she had ever bought. Here's the math:
Pair of socks: $1.59
I only ate one: $0.80
Contrast x-rays: $200
Surgery, hospitalization and meds: $487.00 approx.
Antibiotics: $70

For a total of: $757.80

New hamper with lid: priceless!

Now she keeps all of her clothes, especially her socks inside the hamper with the lid on. Before she had a hamper with no lid and that's when I got into trouble.

Fizzzzzzzy! I am glad you pooped it out. Don't eat clothes! It's not tasty and could be really dangerous to you. (that's what my mommy said) ps. I hide mommy's socks at my place. I like smell momma. Feel like I am with her even she is at work.

POOP ALERT: Momma checked all my poop today and there was no more green cloth, so I musta pooped it all out. Daddy has been very good this weekend. He even emptied the dishwasher! And he went over to sick Grammy's house (Momma's Momma) to help her fix her TV. So he's earned a few points!

Glad you are okay. I got into trouble when I swallowed the last of my leather toy. That came out too. Please be careful. You don't want to spend anymore time with the Dogtor than necessary.
