A Day In the Life of the Fizzy

Oh Momma...

Well, pups, Momma's car is just fine.

Last night she joined this AARP thing that helps with the cars. (Momma: That would be AAA. I'm not THAT old!) Anyway, Daddy drove her to work, and she called them people on her way home. The car dogtor came over, and asked Momma to try to start her car so he could see what was going on...and it started all on it's own!! BOL! The red car was just fine! Boy, Momma felt DUMB! The car dogtor said water got in her gas tank and froze cause it's so cold, and that it happens a lot in the winter time. She still felt dumb, but happy that she didn't need to spend a gajillion dollars to fix it!!

Momma also wanted me to tell you pups that while Daddy was changing Momma's battery, he dropped a wrench in there and they can't get it out! Daddy has to go buy a strong magnet to get it out. She said I had to tell you so you don't think Momma's the only one who does dumb things in this house.

In other news, the snow is up to my belly now. It's not snowing anymore, but it's still cold. Momma told the weatherman to shut it when she watched the news cause more snow is coming this weekend! BOL! I don't mind! It's fun to roll around in! Today I was sticking my whole schnooter in there and blowing so that big puffs were coming up! Momma couldn't find the camera fast enough, but she says it was hilarious!

Glad the car is ok! The snow here is way way taller than me - some piles of it are even two times the height of my momma - no joke!!

Oh, that is good news about the car, but 'cept for the wrench.
Daddy always tells Mommy and Sister to keep the gas tank pretty close to full when the weather is cold so that water doesn't have a chance to form.

So glad your momma's car is OK! :o) *hugs* Now that she doesn't hafta spend money on fixing it, I think it means more doggie treats for you! :o) Oh wait... your daddy probably spent some of that money on getting that powerful magnet. ;o)

There is also some special gas line antifreeze that you can put in some gas keeps any water that may get in the tank from doing just what happened to you! The fumes from a not full tank condense when you turn off the engine and then when it gets cold...growlmy knows exactly how that is...from personal experience!

Maybe your daddy can get a long grabber tool, it has a hook like thing that runs through a long tube, and when you get to the unreachable object, you press the 'trigger' and the grabbing hooks/hand comes out so you can pick up the object...very clever and handy for things that fall in tight places, growlmy uses one to get things out of the heater vents...(Cat toys...) and things that fall between the foot pedals on the organ pedalboard...a job hazard around my den!
There are also magnets on the end of long handles like that...ours are about 1/2 feet long.
My grandpawppy had really tiny tools like that for retrieving things out of clock cases! And there are even screwdrivers with little grabbers on them to keep a tiny screw in place until you can turn it into its place...OMD! I am rambling...

Have fun in your snow!

That snow snorting sounds fun! And funny! We're so glad your mommy's car is okay now. Now she can spend all that money she woulda spent on da car on YOU! YES!! Oh, ask her to ask her mechanic friend if he has a long bar magnet that you can borrow to get that wrench out. Dat might work.

Oh so glad her car is okay. Mom hates when the car does something bad cuz it's not like trying to fix a hair dryer or something - BOL!

We have snow all over, though not as much as recent years . . . yet. It's up to my belly too and I always come inside with snowballs in my furnishings.
