So many naughty words are being thrown around in my house this morning, pups!! It actually started last night when Momma came home. It was snowing and snowing and SNOWING on her way home from work, and her check engine light came on when she turned her car on. She made it home just fine, but every time she went out to check it again, the light was still on.
Well, it kept on snowing all night, pups. Momma and Daddy got a call at 6 in the AM that school wasn't starting until 10:30, but that they needed to be at work at 9 in the AM. So Momma and Daddy got up a little bit later. Momma cleaned off Daddy's car cause he was gonna drive her to work cause the roads looked REAL BAD. Daddy shoveled the sidewalk and the driveway. They both got all dressed, and as Momma was walking out the door (at 8:45 in the AM...they were running late), she got the call that school was CLOSED!!! 15 minutes before they were supposed to be there!!! Oh BOY the words coming out of Momma and Daddy's mouth were TERRIBLE! Momma felt bad cause some of her workers have to drive an hour to get to school on a GOOD day, so she knew a lot of them were already almost at school! And she was right!!
So a little bit later, Momma went out to see if the light was still on in her car...but her car won't start. Oh boy...oh boy oh boy oh boy!!! She was hootin and hollerin so much I ran upstairs and hid in the bed!! She's hoping it's just the battery is dead, cause every time she went out last night to check it, the car started.
Hm. Do you think POP works on cars?

I don't know but I will give you some POP for your Momma's car...and my Momma feels your Momma's pain about cars...ugh!
Hang in there though!! Spring is on it's way...
Yikes! Cover up your gentle ears! Atleast she gets to stay home wif you today. That helps!
Yikes! You skeered me with those bleeding ears!
Hmm, those cars and their check engine lights. I will ask my Daddy about it. He is a mechanic man, really!
And the not starting part, could a dome light have been left on after all the checking your Momma did? That would drain the battery.
Holy cow Fizzy, you skeered me to death with the Bleeding Ears! Now, you can have your pawents home with you all day and go play in the snow and snowplow! Sorry bout cars but momma is a real dunce bout that stuff!
Oh! Oops! Sorry pups, my ears aren't really bleeding! Didn't mean to scare anyone!
Zoe, Momma doesn't THINK she left any lights on, but you never know. She says it sounds like it wants to start, but it just won't. It's really really cold out, and her car was covered with snow all night. She doesn't remember when the last time was she changed the battery, either, so that's why she's hoping it's that. Daddy says he's going to try to jump over the car, and if it starts he'll know to go get a new battery. I don't know how jumping over the car is going to help anything, but whatever!
Oh noes, Fizzy!!! Sending POTP to your momma's car!!! :o) We're glad at least that they didn't hafta drive in the treacherous snow and ice this morning.
Of course pop can be used for anything so we will use it for your momma and her car. It does sound like battery, the cold will do that, hope its not alternator! Sorry you had to hide but you no she wasn't mad at you! Turned out good that your pawrents stayed home, woof woof buddy
Bad news, pups. The battery's been changed, and it still won't start. Daddy's gonna add some oil to it on Saturday, and if it still won't start, it'll have to be towed!! Momma is kinda feeling sick to her tum tum right now...
Oh, Fizzy, that is quite the alarmin' title you came up with fur this entry! Glad you are ok! Hope things look better fur the car. But remind your peoples it is just a car! You all are safe, that's the important thing!
Sadly we've had bleedin ears too. Good luck with the kennel on wheels (car).
Hope the oil helps the car. And I hope y'all have a better day tomorrow.
OMD! Bleeding ears from word abuses...mine would do that sometimes before the former neighbours left their home in a state of abandonment!
Growlmy's ears did get some blisters, too...
Hope that the car trouble is an easy fix. We tend to take them for granted, until they decide to go on strike!
Have fun digging out! Can you do snow plows to help your pawrents?
