I'm still having a great summer! I haven't seen my best friend Lightening Bug in a few days, but I'm sure he'll be back soon.

Sunday was my Daddy's 350,000th birthday. He's OLD! They went and left me to go to lunch, but then SURPRISE! They picked me up on the way back and took me to Grammy and Pap-Pap's house, where we all celebrated by me and Thumper wrestling and playing tug of war and fighting over who got to sit on Daddy's head. It was a great time!

It's not so super hot today, so I think me and Momma will get to take a walk! HOORAY! After she cleans the kitchen, she says. She's out there banging away at stuff, and I have to go investigate and make sure she's OK. Daddy says I HAVE to do this, cause he's at work, and when Momma's home alone she gets crazy ideas in her head and starts "doing stuff." That's what Daddy says. I dunno what "stuff" she's doing, but I'm keeping an eye on her!

Yeah, if we don't watch our Moms, they start thinking. Thinking about moving furniture. Thinking about tearing up the carpet. Thinking about painting the walls a different color.
Dumb stuff.
We need to watch them and give them other stuff to think about. Like going for walks with us. Playing with us. Giving us snacks. Taking a nap with us!
Happy birthday to you Daddy. He sure doesn't look a day over 349,999!
