Gotcha Date: July 1st 2004 Birthday: April 17th 2004 Likes: cheese, snuggling on Mommy's lap, going visiting, ear rubs, kisses kisses and more kisses, the UPS man, chasing squirrels, birds, caterpillars, leaves...pretty much anything that moves he'll chase Pet-Peeves: HUGS! He HATES getting hugs, but mommy does it anyways. Favorite Toy: His Aflac duck that screams "AFLAC!" when he bites it, his squirrel from Ho Ho, Meeko Favorite Food: CHEESE. But he can't eat it anymore. He's on a special diet because he had surgery for calcium oxalate bladder stones, and unfortunately for him, cheese is not on the diet :( Arrival Story: Fizzy was a birthday present for me and my husband shortly after we got married. He's by far the best present ever!! Bio: Fizzy is extremely affectionate. His Aunts refer to him as a living Snuggie. He likes nothing more than to snuggle with the nearest available lap, and if there's something in the way (like a book), he'll paw it out of the way. He also loves to give kisses. The more kisses the better!!
In October 2009 Fizzy had surgery for calcium oxalate bladder stones. He's now on a special restricted diet for the rest of his life. Momma was pretty sad about this at first, but if it will keep Fizzy healthy and alive for as long as possible, she'll deal. I got to go on a special adventure today, pups! Since I'm going to be spending a week at Grammy's house soon, she insisted on getting me a harness for when I go on walks cause she feels like she's choking me. But Momma didn't know how to pick one, so guess who got to go to Petco? ME!! It was ME, pups! I've never been in Petco, cause Momma says (and this is a direct quote) "Nothing about your behavior thus far in your life has proven that you can handle going to Petco." I'm not entirely sure what that means, but I think she's saying I'm bad. Hmph.
But I was mostly good, pups, I swear!! The floors were slippery, so I was kinda distracted by them. And then this little girl started following me around and saying "Pet the puppy!" and every time we stopped somewhere she petted me on the head! She's my new best good friend!
I saw another doggie and started barking my head off at him, but we were walking back to the car so I didn't get to bark at him much. And oh, I got me a new red harness for when I go to Grammy's house!! What a fun day!
Momma and Daddy are done with school, pups!! SUMMER VACATION IS HERE! No more pencils! No more books! No more teacher's dirty looks! Wait....they ARE the teachers...BOL!!
