Stella mentioned in one of her
diaries that we have been
going walkies almost every
other night. It has been
so much FUN! Stella is
usually tied to my harness &
she pulls to the side trying to stop
& smell. Last night, we went
walkies earlier than the usual
time. Thank woofness we went
earlier cus shortly after we
got home - cleaned our paws &
snuggled into bed, it poured cats &
dogs (well, not literally) . Hopefully,
it doesn't rain that bad again t'nite
so we can go walkies again.

I have a slight scabby-cut-
abrasion ouchie under my armpit
from my harness rubbing on me
during walkies time. Do any of
you pals get ouchies when you
wear your harness on walkies?

BFF is so adamant about caring
for my abrasion that she has been
putting neosporin on it &
checking it all the time. She
worries TOO MUCH. The
only thing that bothers me is
the smell of the neosporin.

Oh boo!! I don't like that you have an owie!!!
Would it help if BFF wrapped a washcloth or terry cloth towel around the part of the harness that is rubbing you???

OH No! An owie from your harness? That is terrible. Hope it heals soon. Walks are nice, we go on one every night too!

I walk with a harness, but it hasn't given me an owie...yet. Now mommy will be watching. Maybe it would be a good idea to get a different style of harness and switch back and forth so the same spot isn't always getting rubbed?

Izzy and Winkie had sum good ideas.
Your harness probly rubs 'cause you don't have much hairs. Maybe stop shavin yur armpit. That might do the trick. ;-)

And I hope it feels better soon too.

Thanks pals, excellent suggestions!! We'll try something different next time like a soft cloth Izzy mentioned. Last night BFF wrapped a hankerchief around the buckled part of my harness where it scrathes me up. Somehow it got loose & fell off some where during our walkies BOL.

I don't get ouchies from my harness and I pull real hard when I walk too my mom does have it a bit loose so it's not tight on me I don't know if that matters. Maybe some musher's secret under your arms might help? it's for protecting paws but it's good for elbows too maybe it's good for underarms also? I hope you feel better soon!
