Arrival Story:
I lucked out big time at the Humane Society. At 1 1/2 Jakie (originally named Sniffy), was only paper trained, and went potty if yelled at. Fortunately, I put in a request for a Lhasa prior to Jake's arrival - I say fortunately, because other people wanted him too, but I had first choice since I had put in a request already. Upon getting a call from the Humane Society, I talked to someone about Jakie's problems, and they thought I should be very careful in making my decision. Poor little fellow was shaking unbelievably when I picked him up. I just held him til he calmed down, and needless to say, he tugged at my heart without even trying.
Bio:
On the way home, we got a bed, toys, etc. - didn't want to wait to see him with the possibility that I might not get a chance to meet him. At home, he only had 2 accidents - the first time, he was sitting by the door, and I didn't know he didn't bark. 2nd time was the last time. I have heard him "growl" when playing with him, but he's ony barked a couple a times - and that's when he was playing.

This past week, Mom's been bouncing around. Meaning to say "Happy Birthday", Gotcha Day and Rainbow Anniversary, she got discombobulated.
