8/24/2009- Ruger is now walking some and falling down a little less. It will be a while before he is running with all the other pups. He is a great dog. Easy going and just happy to be here. & We are very happy to have him. Please help us raise funs to pay for his leg Amputation. Ruger would give you a thank you kiss if you bend close enough to the screen.

You sure are a handsome boy. Good to see that you are up and running around again. I bet after a while you won't have any problem keeping up with any four legged critters... OK, maybe a greyhound. But that's it.
Just to let you know my hubby and i will probably adopt one of you little boys. Most likely the one who looks just like you, the "classic" fawn.
Might have to rename him though. He'll probably want a tough name like his daddy. We'll see.
Anyway, he'll have a great life with us and have a girl Dane to help wear him out.
We hope to stay in tough with you and get updates on how things are going with you.
