Hi Dogster Pals.

I don't think things can get any worse for my family. Our Grandma (Patches first Mommy) who lives next door to us, went to Heaven on September 18, and on September 30, a Sunday, my big sister Idgie that is smaller than me didn't want to eat.
Idgie LOVES to eat, probably more than anything in the whole wide world.

So on Monday, Mommy took Idgie right to Dr. Farr, who is the best doggy doctor and Mommy has been taking all of her fur children to for 18 years.
Dr. Farr felt a mass on Idgie's spleen and sent her and Mommy to a hospital in Branchburg immediately, where they did an ultrasound and found cancer in Idgie's liver and in her spleen. Idgie lived for exactly one week and then Dr. Farr had to help Mommy send her to Heaven.

Idgie was perfect and beautiful and the picture of health. Idgie was almost 15 years old, but a vet that was filling in for Dr. Farr about 9 months ago thought that Idgie was only 7 or 8 years old. Mommy feeds us only healthy holistic food. Idgie had her complete physical at the end of July and everything was perfect.

We are so shocked and devastated, that we still can't believe it.
What will I do without my Idgie....my big sister. Idgie was little, but she took care of me and washed my face every day. Idgie always told me what I should do and what I shouldn't.

Oh, my little heart is so broken and all Mommy does is cry. I'm so sad.
