Yesterday a true friend of mine went to the Rainbow Bridge. He was a true hero to me . He was my friend Ty , the chestnut horse on my web page with the fly mask on . He is finally free , of pain he had blown hocks which turned very painful. He overcame severe adversity , in this life having 16 owners before he went to my Uncle Scott, and when he came to him , he was afraid and mad at everyone because of the severe abuse he had endured in his life . But Uncle Scott showed him nothing but love , and Ty slowly learned to trust again , and finally to love again. He had a great 7 years with Uncle Scott, he even turned out to be a great babysitter , the young foals loved him . It is a sad day to lose so shining a spirit ,but a lucky day for the angels , to get a shining star up there . I will miss him very much , he taught me and everyone around him that you can overcome adversity and learn to trust and love again that there are truly wonderful people out there, not just the mean ones. Ty we will love you forever , and we're happy your pain free now at the Rainbow Bridge , run free big guy and we'll see you again lol Oso and the Mom

Our thoughts are with you and your family. Ty sounds like he taught you as much as you taught him. We feel like Ty was in the room with us as we read his story.

Tell Uncle Scott we send our deepest sympathy and appreciate all that he did to give Ty a life where he felt happiness and love.
God bless,
Tucker and family

This is a truley touching story about forgiveness and the pure love of animals. I hope Ty is happy and pain free at the bridge. Maybe he will watch over the foals from a rainbow and continue his babysitting.

OSO... You sure were right when you said us Angels were lucky to have TY join us at TRB...The moment he arrived, he took a wonderful deep breath after his beautiful journey, whinnied at all of us and took off running free, no pain.. just wonderful freedom. As he trotted back over to us we saw his bright eyes and just knew he certainly was a young and happy shining star again. He came here knowing the true meaning of Love.. Thanks to Uncle Scott for that!
