Remember Pearl Harbor Day

We just wanted to remind everyone that today is Pearl Harbor Day and to remember all those who have served and our serving our country and thank them for their sacrifice.

We also want to thank all of our Dogster friends who stopped by to leave,bones,comments and gifts for Mika on her birthday yesterday. She had a wonderful day,having lots of outdoor fun,treats and extra love,too. We made her feel extra special but don't tell Kai.

Mommy has been having a really rough time on dogster lately,the fleas are running wild and out of control and just wanting the best for all pups has really gotten her in trouble when she expresses her opinions lately. She has suggested that people who are looking for the right pup for them should do their own research not just ask owners of that breed.Although that is a good thing to do as part of your research it should not be your only research. She tells someone to try the AKC breed match site as a resource and people think she hates mixed breeds and shelter dogs,she simply doesn't want more dogs in the shelter. ALL pups should have a forever home,the people who get the pups need to know that the only way that will happen is if they do the research so they get the best pup for their situation and no one but the person in that situation knows all of their circumstances.Other than Mommy getting people mad at her Mommy has been missing some of her old Dogster friends many who left because they felt a little attacked by others on dogster for offering an opinion. Mommy still does the wildlife watch with us everyday,and we watch the preschoolers parade almost everyday and we play with Mom outside more since the weather is cooler,we haqven't gotten to go to Aunt 'Leens much because Aunt 'Leen has been sick and Mommy was away for most of two days this week while Aunt 'Leen was having surgery and recovering.She is home now and doing fine so far.The little people are coming to spend the night with us tomorrow night so hopefully that will cheer Mom up ,too.

Mommy was right things have gotten better. Kai doesn't chew my tail in the middle of the night anymore and he's finally learning some manners. Daddy has been home more and spending more time with me so that Mommy can teach Kai how to be a good boy and not have to worry about me feeling neglected. I don't feel like I'm not getting enough attention Mommy spends lots of time with me and plays with me like she always did Kai just keeps her extra busy. Mommy wasn't even mad at me when I ate Kai's food and had an accident in the house,she was just worried that I was okay and made extra time to fuss over me when she got my brother to sleep. Ilove having Daddy home more ,too! I'm a Daddy's girl after all. Having a baby brother here has been great too,I have a playmate all the time now and he's finally gotten big enough to play with. Mommy doesn't like when we play outside together because sometimes I get too excited and give my brother boo-boos. We still play hard in the house but there's not enough room to get too wild. I'm all grown up now,I turn 3 tomorrow!

12 and a half pounds of trouble. That's my new baby brother! Kai has arrived. I really like him but he's too little to play with me,he tries but just when it starts to get really fun he runs and hides between Mommy's feet. I really liked the ride when we picked him up and had
fun visiting his furmommy's house but he tried to play with me and I wasn't sure what to do. The ride home was uneventful and he seemed okay,boy were we suprized! His first night home he drove me crazy and kept the whole pack up all night! I was really nervous because he's little just like my little people and I wanted to make sure everyone was safe and I don't like suprises from behind me. That little stinker kept sneaking up on me and biting my tail,ugh! Then he kept crying because he missed his mommy,that I understand. He also has no manners! Mommy says it will get better soon,and she really is trying to teach him good manners but,I wish he'd get with the program. Mommy gives me lots of love and of course I'm still Daddy's baby girl so it's not all bad. Mommy says to give it some time,we'll see...

Hi pups,It's been a long boring day cause mom's sick. She caught a cold from the little people earlier this week and hasn't had much energy to do anything. I think trying to cough up a lung takes alot of energy,Daddy says mommy needs to keep both of them especially with my new brother Kai due to arrive on Sunday. I'd like to cuddle
with mom but she keeps using this smelly junk she calls vaporub.
I don't know why she uses it,I only know it's stinky,even Daddy hates it ,I guess it is supposed to help people cough up a lung because it sure does make mommy cough more. I hope she's better by Sunday,so we can go pick-up Kai and HE can cuddle with mom.
Since he's little he probably won't know that she doesn't smell like that all the time and he can stay with her when she uses that stuff.

Last night was Trick-or-Treat in our neighborhood.I had lots of fun!
There were little people everywhere,they were all dressed up and looked strange,but I know the smell of little people.Mommy and Daddy sat on the porch and handed out candy,I also know the smell of candy ,YUM! Almost all of the little people and most of the big people petted me and told me how pretty I was and what a good girl I
was and how well I behaved. One person was a little afraid of me because they had a puppy with them and they weren't sure what I
would do.I really wanted to sniff the puppy and maybe play with it but,Mommy and Daddy said no. The puppy was really cute ,too.
Mommy asked the lady holding the leash what kind of puppy it was
she could tell it had rottweiler in it but wasn't sure if it was mixed with something else or not,it was ,pittbull.Mommy told the lady it would probably grow-up to be really nice. We all stayed out the whole 2hrs. and had lots of fun. I like to make new friends even if I only see them occasionally. I can't wait for next year. I hope everyone had as good a time with their family as I had with mine.

more and more yucky rain.
I hate when it rains all the time.There is no wildlife to watch,
the little peopleat the pre-school down the street don't get
to walk outside past my house and say"hi doggie" Shelly and
Mommy don't spend much time outside because it's too,cold.
Daddy has been really busy and mommy has been pretty sick
all week with a bad headache and has a hard time taking me for a walk.
The only good news is I have only 2and a half more weeks before my baby brother comes to live with me. Mommy wishes she felt better because there are lots of things she needs to get done before we can bring him home.Mommy calls it pre-holiday cleaning. She cleans everything,walls,windows,curtains,closets,everything. I hate when she does that,she even cleans out my toybox and gets rid of some of
my best work.It took weeks to pull all 8 of the legs off of that stuffed spider and rip it's face off so I could pull out the stuffing andSHE throws it in the garbage,not the waste basket I can reach into and get it back the one in the kitchen behind the cabinet door that I can't get into the GARBAGE. All that hard work and she says it needs replaced with a new one. I will never understand my mother.
