Dogster is always growing and we're always looking for rock-solid Software Engineers to help us expand our product offerings. The ideal candidates combines strong PHP programming skills; experience building complex web applications using HTML, JavaScript and CSS; and a thorough understanding of MYSQL databases. If your LAMP skills are different but parallel we'd still be happy to ehar about them. This candidate should be interested in working in a start-up environment where flexibility, creativity and drive are required.
You will be responsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle (discovery, design, coding, design, implementation and maintenance). Additionally, the ideal candidate will also be expected to participate in technology, product, marketing and business initiatives outside their area of expertise.
Required Skills:
- 2-3 years experience with one or more of: PHP, Ruby, Java, C, Python, Perl or Tcl
- 1-2 years experience developing complex web applications
- Experience using XML, XML DOM, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks
- Thorough understanding HTML, CSS and XHTML
- A passion for creating wonderful user interfaces

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will understand how our business model impacts the greater web marketplace. They will demonstrate the ability to think creatively, and work well in close quarters. They will have the ability to manage stress well and juggle multiple account challenges at once. 2-3 years of advertising sales experience with a minimum 1 year of online sales experience essential. Outstanding telephone skills, demonstrated analytical ability, BS/BA degree and proven sales and account service achievements are required.

Key Experience and Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and excellent interpersonal skills
