I’m happy to report we have just made our last and final update to the URLs for our dog pages. From now on all direct links to our dogs’ pages will be https://www.dogster.com/dogs/the_dogs_id. So Sparky’s URL is https://www.dogster.com/dogs/189. For the last month it was sometimes trailed by ‘/sniff’ for reasons too arcane to get into, but those reasons are moot now and the ’sniff’ has been phased out permanently.

When people are strolling thru pet pages, the URL will be slightly different now. If you were doing a stroll of dogs and you came upon Sparky the URL would be https://www.dogster.com/dogs/189/in/stroll/. You can copy, paste and save this URL, but it’s really better to strip off the ‘/in/stroll/’ part if you ever want to share the URL anywhere else.

Sorry if this is confusing. I really just posted as a public service for those who have been wondering. These changes should have no effect on your pet pages or your enjoyment of the site, but should make it easier for people to find your pages.

Woofs!
