Spot has a long tongue. It sticks out when he sleeps, leaving behind little drool marks on the bed he shares with Dolly. I wash their bed every few weeks to remove the accumulated tongue prints and any other stains.

The process involves pulling out all of the stuffing, washing the cover and letting it air-dry, and putting all of the pieces back together to form the bumper bed’s original shape.
