Dogsters, Jake here. Yes, in case you didn’t realize it, that’s me up there, not Rudolph. This “Christmas sweater” came in the mail the other day as a sample of what one “lucky” Dogster dog could win in our sweater giveaway if he or she is XL like me. Dogs, if you are large and you think your person might enter this giveaway, shut down the computer fast unless you like your friends laughing at you. Some dogs may be proud to wear antlers and a puffy red nose and a poofy tail, but I am not that brand of dog.

The “nice” people at PetSmart will award the winner with the appropriate size (XS, S, M, L, XL, or XXL) of a festive holiday sweater, from one of PetSmarts exclusive lines, such as Martha Stewart Pets or Pet Holiday. If you are not my size, you might end up with a more normal sweater, like this Martha Stewart number.

Because Christmas is fewer than 10 days away, Maria says this is going to be a quick turnaround giveaway. We’re going to announce the winner on Monday, December 19, and we will need to get the winner’s shipping info and dog size by Tuesday, December 20, if it’s going to arrive on time. (It will be shipped via an express service.)

To enter, I’m going to ask you to do something a little different than Maria normally would. I’m going to send you on a little treasure hunt of sorts. Read carefully, because there are a couple of parts to this. You need to head over to the earlier today about the PAWS holiday stocking day my humans helped with; watch it; and leave a comment over there about what you like about it, or what your favorite part of the video was, and why. (Since I do not appear in the video, it may be a hard choice for you.)

Of course there is no right answer, so pick whatever you enjoy most. You have to enter by Sunday, December 18, at noon Pacific time, so get on over there ASAP! Why am I doing this? Because I am a dog, and I like to sniff around everywhere, so I thought as fellow Dogsters you would enjoy that, too. Plus my peeps really like PAWS (that’s my girl Laura in the video with her friend), so I thought I’d share the video. Plus I am really embarrassed by my outfit, and I figured this would get you away from it by going to another post.
