The Dark Side Of Grooming

Recently a small dog was tragically killed by a groomer. That could have been any of us who use groomers. So how do you know if your dog is safe with that person with the clippers in her hand?

I’m asking you to bark in and share your advice on choosing groomers with your fellow Dogsters. I have four short-coated dogs who require not much more than bathing and nail-cutting. We need to hear from the groomers in the Dogster community, as well as those Dogsters who have extensive experience with groomers. Bark in!

What should someone look for or know about a groomer before handing over their fuzzy friend’s lead? How do you find out if there have been complaints? What about references? Training certificates?

If you have some good advice to share you just might save a fellow Dogster’s life!
