I enjoy being able to bring my fellow Dogsters happy news stories on Mondays. This poor dog had me scared for a while. It was almost literally touch-and-go there at the end. I love that the rescuer was wearing a coat and tie. Nebraska is a lot more upscale than I thought.
The dog is in good company. Baltic, the intrepid dog who was rescued from a multi-day journey on an ice floe in the Bering Sea, broke the ice for this sort of predicament in January. He is now living with the seaman who rescued him, and spends much of his time on the research vessel that came to his aid. It’s a good life for a salty sea dog.
