Yesterday we posted the sweetest little video of a boy and his dog. It demonstrates so clearly the unconditional love that flows between many children and dogs. Today a Dogster reader named Redford pointed out that there’s a followup of this lovely video. So we had to bring it to you!

The little boy, Joshua, is three years older, and instead of a birthday party with gifts for his fifth birthday, he held a birthday party asking for donations to the local shelter, the Animal Protective Association of Missouri. What a dear, compassionate little guy! To see him with the dogs at the shelter makes the heart melt, and gives hope that the next generation of animal lovers is going to be a great one. (I was kind of hoping he’d take the elderly dog home… 🙂 )
