We’ve made some changes to our community guidelines so I thought I’d post an update.
It’s always a good idea for members to check out the community guidelines on a regular basis, and please do know it’s always fine to ask first if in doubt.
If you haven’t had a chance to read our new policy regarding site advertisers, please take the time to read it in entirety. I personally spent a lot of time drafting it to make sure that everyone is still able to share their experiences and facts that are proven if done in a fun and friendly informative manner.
If anyone is wondering, content posted with the intent to provide information and education about product recalls, or content in which members shared their personal experience with that product (positive or negative), that keep with the “Spirit of Dogster; fun, friendly, or helpful,” at all times is always fine and valued.
We simply request that concerns about an advertiser on our site be addressed with HQ directly, rather than by way of protest in the public areas of our site. And definitely there should never be slander, insults, belittling or discouragement as that’s never part of the Spirit of Dogster under any circumstances.
