Tom Brady just got a new football deflator — Tom Brady just got a new puppy!
His name is Scooby, and he comes to the family at a opportune time — a puppy needs round-the-clock care, and NFL Commissioner Robert Goodell was kind enough to clear Tom’s schedule a bit to care for Scooby, and also to serve a four-game suspension.
A puppy is a great way to make deflating a football seem like the fun thing it used to be for the star quarterback. He’ll be back to happily deflating footballs — and tennis balls, and ping-pong balls, and really any old ball that he happens to leave in the vicinity of a teething Scooby — in no time, so the New England Patriot’s continued success on the field is secure.
