Summer is drawing to a close in the northern hemisphere. However, excessive heat still poses a risk to dogs, especially when they are left unattended in cars.
For that reason (as well as another that will become evident soon), I can’t resist linking to Joanee Greene’s Good Dog Podcast. In particular, I recommend the July 29, 2007 podcast: Keeping Dogs Cool.
I am the guest on that particular podcast. Several months ago when I wrote about the subject of preventing canine overheating it proved to be a remarkably controversial subject. So I was a bit hesitant to be interviewed on the topic. But in the end I decided to go for it. Ms. Greene misspelled my name in the final piece, but that’s water under the bridge.
