Tennessee Dogsters have a new bill to support. SB 2714, Cross-Reporting of Animal Abuse, is currently on Governor Bredeson’s desk. The ASPCA supports this law that would require any county worker in child or adult protective services who suspects animal abuse, cruelty or neglect to report it to an entity responsible for investigating those reports in that county or city.

The ASPCA is urging animal lovers to contact Governor Bredeson and urge him to sign SB 2714 into law.
