You may have heard about an upcoming sports event called the Super Bowl. It’s supposed to happen this weekend. If you’re a dog, you’re probably asking, “Super BOWL? Does that mean there will be a giant bowl of food? Oh please let it be a super bowl of food!

The bowl we bring you today is neither food nor football, but rather, a bowl full of puppies — Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl IX, that is. You can bet we’re tuning in and taking bets on who will pee in the water dish first.

Here’s your chance to meet some of the Puppy Bowl’s adorable starting lineup.

Agatha is a nine-week-old female Miniature Pinscher. Her favorite thing to do? Being the center of attention, of course. And with a face like that, how could we ever even think of looking away?

This is Biscuit. She is a 12-week-old Puerto Rico Sato. Apparently her mother is Julia Roberts — whatever that means. Check out her highlight reel:

Dogster, this is Bessie. Bessie, Dogster. She’s a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix who’s a tender 13 weeks old. She’s described as a “funny girl.” We’ll see who’s laughing once the Puppy Bowl starts!

This is the adorable Aurora. At a mere 10 weeks old, this Siberian HuskyRetriever mix already knows how to steal your heart. Like most puppies, her favorite activity includes … PLAYING! Check her out in action:

Last but not least is little Arlo, a 10-week-old-male LabradorCollie mix (sounds like perfection to me!). He’s originally from South Carolina, and is described as “totally amazing.” We think that goes for all dogs!

Who will you be rooting for in this year’s Puppy Bowl?
