St. Louis’ miracle dog takes no-kill message to North Carolina
ST. LOUIS (AP) — Quentin, the “Miracle Dog” that escaped death by gas chamber in St. Louis, is taking his message to North Carolina.
Quentin was supposed to have been euthanized at the St. Louis dog pound in 2003, but miraculously survived. Two years later, the city shut down the gas chamber.
His guardian Randy Grim, has written a book about it and travels with his buddy to speak on behalf of no-kill shelters.
Grim is the founder of Stray Rescue, which rescues and rehabilitates abused, neglected and abandoned animals and finds them loving homes.
