If you live in or near Avon, Indiana this is your weekend to let the world know what you think about puppy mills. You have the opportunity to join others in protesting two pet stores that sell puppy mill puppies. Karen, Dogster Roxie’s furmom, barked in to invite us all to join her at the peaceful demonstration.

Hi Joy,
For anyone living near or around Avon, Indiana there will be a peaceful demonstration outside a pet store that sells sick puppies. They are known to buy their dogs from an Amish Puppy Mill. Anyone that can participate please do so.
Together We Can Stop Indiana Puppy Mills!!!
As a result of the Channel 13 News report showing that Uncle Bill’s Pet Center’s and Safari Pets (Avon, IN) get their puppies from Amish puppy mills in Southern Indiana, a group of concerned and determined citizens from in and around Indianapolis will be gathering for peaceful demonstrations at both locations.
The response to the Channel 13 investigation has been nationwide. With the media now willing to pay attention, the time has come to show irresponsible Pet Store Owners that the citizens of Indiana will no longer stand in silence. It is only in unity that our message will be heard loud and clear, and that we can educate unsuspecting citizens about the horrific conditions documented within Indiana puppy mills and those in surrounding states. It is only together that the words “enough is enough” will be heard, and consequently acted upon by lawmakers. Below are the details for the demonstrations:
WE DESPERATELY NEED YOU THERE!!!
Date–Saturday December 15th, 2007

Note: They have moved from their original location.
Time–2:00 to 3:30 **Please look for the red cones.THIS IS NOTHING RADICAL. WE WILL FOLLOW THE RULES. Police have been consulted;
easements where we will be standing have been located. All you have to do is stand there and hold a sign to remind the state of Indiana and Pet Store owners, that the time has come to make changes!!!VERY IMPORTANT!!!:
For anyone who is available to come (we are begging), PLEASE RSVP to this email address as soon as possible: nopuppymills0708@yahoo.com. We need to know how
many people will be coming so we have enough signs. We will also try to keep you updated by e-mail on any changes, etc. as time grows closer.Remember: The more supporters we have, the more media we will attract.
Please don’t be fooled and dismiss this request by telling yourself that “other people will take care of it.” History proves they won’t, so each and every person that is outraged by the puppy mill industry must unite to take a stand. The impact we can make Saturday December 15th will be the voice for imprisoned dogs, the silenced voice that Indiana needs to hear once and for all!
Also, the following is a YouTube link that you’ll want to see. Please watch it. It shows the life of the breeding parents left behind. I hope it will inspire everyone to help us take action.
****Please cross post this letter far and wide.****
