NORTH HUNTINGTON, Pa., Oct. 12 (UPI) — Bailey, a 10-year-old bichon frise, is top dog in his Pennsylvania hometown, getting a taste of the good life after his seven-mile trek to find his way home.

Bailey received a free grooming and massage at a dog salon after groomer Jennifer Smith heard his tale of traveling to reach his owners’ home in North Huntington, Pa., after becoming lost in Darragh, seven miles away, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review said.

“There’s so much bad news out there that it’s great to read about something good. I just wanted to meet Bailey,” Smith said as she combed, clipped and calmed the dog.
