Gracie is an adorable puppy who needs a home by the end of June. She’s located in the Baltimore, MD. area and is ready to go to her new forever home.
Gracie is about 16 months old, she was born Jan 2008. We got her as a puppy from a rescue, her mother was pregnant when she entered the rescue. She’s up to about 50-60 pounds, very active, for a mastiff, and dearly loves to be with her people. She’ll go wherever her people or her brother goes, he’s a 3 year old pit bull who’s going with my wife, but prefers to be inside.
The breed is extremely protective and occasionally used for police work; we’ve seen no aggressive behaviors from Gracie. She is a pretty good watchdog but, once introduced to the new arrival, she’s full of love and play. She’s house and crate trained, occasionally she needs a little encouragement to go in the crate, a half a dog cookie or rawhide chip.
We’ve done a lot of work to socialize her with people and other dogs. While she’s been living in a house with another dog I think she’d do well as an only dog.
