Everyone here at Dogster HQ is furry furry excited to announce that Laurie Williams and Andrew, runners-up on last year’s hit TV show Greatest American Dog, are joining us to write a blog! Laurie and Andrew’s blog is called Ring Time: The Inside Scoop with Laurie Williams, and we are extremely proud to be able to add it as number eleven (!) in our family of dog and cat blogs.
Ring Time is going to focus on dog training and dog shows, as well as dish out the latest in celebrity dog gossip. Laurie will be tapping into her knowledge as a canine education specialist and her experience on the red carPET to bring you a great blend of informative, fun and juicy news! More about Laurie:
Laurie C. Williams CPDT and her six-year-old Maltese dog Andrew may have been runners-up on the CBS summer reality show Greatest American Dog, but they are Americas designated champions in demonstrating the beautiful, mutually respectful relationship that can result from positive, dog-friendly training.
A canine education specialist, dog behavior counselor and trainer for over 25 years, Laurie is the owner and Director of Training and Behavior Counseling at Pup N Iron Canine Fitness & Learning Center in Fredericksburg, VA, 45 minutes south of Washington, DC. The 11,000 square foot, state of the art dog training, daycare and fitness and rehabilitation facility is the only one of its kind in the country.
