I am always humbled when I hear how Dogster has helped people draw meaning from the death of a furry loved one. Dee Ann barked in to let us know how her Maddy is helping other human, canine and feline Dogsters fight and deal with a terrible disease. It has been a year and a half since we lost our beloved Maddy to the terrible disease Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia. We still miss her very much and still feel the pain of her absence. Being
able to create a page for her on Dogster has been so healing. It helps us keep her memory alive.

Then one day, the idea struck me to start a group in her name and search for other dogs that are battling or have the lost battle with the same disease she went through. Today, Maddy’s group has 27 members! 3 members are cats from Catster!

The support and care that the group share is amazing! We know the pain and suffering this disease causes and everyone is truly there for one another.

Dogster, thank you so much for giving Maddy’s memory a place to help others!
