URGENT!!!!!!!30-33 DOGS TO BE PTS BY MONDAY. NEED ALL RESCUES TO PLEASE STEP UP AND HELP IF YOU CAN. I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL ASKING FOR HELP IN GETTING THIS PLEA PUT TO AS MANY AS POSSIBLE. THE DIRECTOR AT HES HAS GONE TO ASSESS THE SITUATION.
IT APPEARS THERE ARE SEVERAL PB DOGS THERE. I AM WAITING ON FURTHER INFO.
I pulled the following off the Petfinder listing for Dade County. The urgency seems to have been caused by the closing down of a hoarding situation. This resulted in too many dogs in an area either without a shelter or a shelter that is much too small.
This is a special plea for help. Dade County GA does not have animal laws. In this case, the home owner thought she was helping by taking in strays dumped around her house. Now she is overwhelmed and living in bad conditions. These dogs are being neglected because there are too many and she cannot afford to take care of them. She is in way over her head. Most of them are spayed or neutered. Their nails need to be cut and 2 have tested positive for scarcopic mange. Both are easily curable with the proper care. I am not sure of the sex of most of them but if you are interested, I can easily get that. I can also find out if they are spayed or neutered. The sheriffs office solution is euthanization. Please help save a life.
If you can help or want to adopt one of these dogs in need, follow this link to the Petfinder site.
If anyone has any more information, please bark in!
