According to a study published in the journal Anthrozoös, women might sleep the best when they share their bed with a dog. Researchers at Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, surveyed 962 adult females in the United States. The results indicated that women had a more restful night’s sleep when sharing their bed with a dog when compared to sleeping in bed with another person, and also reported stronger feelings of comfort and security when sleeping with a dog. Additionally, women who slept with cats reported their sleep being as disrupted as women who slumbered with a human.
